So,

I bought Fallout 3 and resistance 2 two weeks ago.

Been busy with school and havent had the chance to play either of them that much, and going to play them the last week well, blows.

Shame neither of them work. Fallout wont even freaking load into a new area, just keeps freezing.

Resistance was great, until i beat single player. The online worked for a day, then the infamous "Network connection failed, Disconnecting from network blah blah blah.

and neither has a patch as of a few weeks after release...

Bullsh*t if you ask me.

Doesn't sound like it's the PS3's fault, but rather your Fallout 3 disc and your connection.

I dont know much about fallout. But I know that a patch isnt needed to fix R2 but the servers needed to be adjusted. They are better now.

I heard Fallout 3 was buggy which is why I avoided it like the plague, Bethesda Softworks sucks anyway. They treat the PS3 like dirt. As for Resistance 2, I have not had any issues yet, but I haven't played it online too much. Like maybe 2-3 hours tops. I am sure it will be patched soon though. It takes time to develop a patch, then it has to get tested by Sony for atleast a week. Insomniac won't abandon us, they are great developers.

So where's the connection that the PS3 blows just cause you have a couple of tedious problems with 2 games?

Suck it up and deal with it or fix the damn problem

Sounds like you had tons of time to play if you beat Resistance single player in a week.

^^Resistance 2 is not that long. The first game went on for ages...but part 2 is only average like 7-8 hours on casual, but it is an incredible experience none-the-less.

You mis-read my post, I meant in term of your choice in title for the topic and your girly whining in your post. And you obviously need to take a close look at the discs or your system, either way I stand corrected.

Whaaaaaaaaat ?!

I've been playing the on-line on R2 and never had any problems. None!

By the way Fallout 3 has problems in every console and they are working right now to fix it. The only thing that does suck is that the DLC is only for PC and X360. Still not PS3's fault. Just what Bethesda decided.

Have the 3 next gen systems and right now the one I play is my PS3 the most. Just depends on the games you like.

Well the title brought you in the topic now didnt it? So it did its job.

And do some research before you open your big flap. Fallout is very buggy, and Bethesda is working on patch, but it would be nice to have a fairly bug free game in the first place. Resistance has also had widespread server issues, which has yet to be fixed - i dont care how they do it. I just want a functional game. Neither problem is fault of my discs or system. Google either of them and you'll be amazed how many people have problems with em.

I would have to agree.  I wasn't too worried about Resistance myself but I did get Fallout.  Mine has worked well, I think it locked on me once but it's been fine.  So yea, might be your disc bro.  Have you tried taking it back by the store for an exchange?

Everything else works just fine. Everyother game, PSN store, internet whatever. NOT a connection problem. And ive throughly checked for any problems with the connection just to be sure, and nothing has seemed to work.

Resistance 2 is working fine for me. I'm playing on the US servers from the UK with a crappy connection and I haven't had the network error message for over a week, so they must have done something.

I thought so too, it worked for a while. but it popped up again Yesterday and today...

It doesnt seem to have anything to do with quality of connection, it just decides when to work i guess lmao.

well apparently u didnt read the gamespot review of the ps3 version of fallout 3 which was said to have a few bugs and graphics problem and secondly don't blame the ps3 for one Network Failure. Im sure it didnt happen 3 times in a row or somtin like that.If it did then you are just having the worst weekend with your ps3. Network problems happen on all systems. As of now im enjoying my ps3 to the max with LBP, Dead Space, and CoD4.

Being a ps3 owner to me is great right now.

Right now I more concerned about whether or not your going to understand my original post or not ;) And as far as R2 goes, as I said to some whiny pathetic emo kid (a bit like yourself) who complained about LBP servers (yes I know, completely two different servers before you get on your high horse and try and point out the bleeding obvious) servers aren't perfect, the best game developers can do is grin and bear it, then fix it later on, but such is life, servers are going to have maintenance regularly if they are going to appease the gamers. So quit your belly aching, be grateful your alive and have a PS3 and crawl back to whatever hole you came out of.

You just bought the games at the wrong time. Fallout 3 is known to have some bugs for the ps3 version while Resistance 2 has problems with its online servers. You should have just gotten LBP or World at War.
