Games that get a red ring=10.:oya game spot is bias against the ps3.fuzzy_hippo
I see people say this a lot, and theres some grammatical things I want to address:
1. its "biased" when its used in the tense you're using it in.
2. it generally means preferentially, and I understand that saying someone is preferenced against something does make sense, but its not the best way to use the word.
so, please gain a better understanding of the english language or find a different buzzword. not just you, everybody who uses it.
you don't care, he doesn't care, I do care.
intelligent people all think you sound like morons, and when you're accusing someone or something of being prejudiced, it is best not to sound like a moron.
preferentially one sided sounds a hundered times better than biased.

Please don't pick out other peoples' grammatical errors when you don't even use capital letters in your post. It's a forum, not a damn job application.
Anyway, Uncharted and Ratchet definitely deserve to be up there.
you're correct, the only thing I ever capitalize is the self-referential "I" and proper names, but this is a conscious decision, and not done out of ignorance, as I suspect "fuzzy_hippo's" error was.
your comparison of a forum to a job application is not apt, because while you would want to impress your would be employer, a forum is meant strictly to be read, and should be just as high a priority for displaying your intelligence as a job application.

Not really. Who cares what a bunch of people they don't even know on a gaming forum think about them? I certainly don't. I'm sure his friends and family don't think of him any less because of the way he types here.

And wishing they all die isn't?:?i had a 360 and it got the red ring of death after 4 months. M$ said that i had to pay $160 to get it fixed. YEAH RIGHT!! after that, i sold it to some sucker for $300. easy money in my pocket
haha well my grandma is english too...im american...i guess i kinda meant that as like one of those snobby English people who think they are better than everyone else ya know? not the common folk...i have no problem with people...just people with a thumb up their butt and think they are better than everyone else...my apology :)demoman314
Ha, it's cool. I was only messing around.
I don't understand what the aversion to writing in the correct english is though. is it just too hard for you to wrap your mind around all the little nuances that make up the english language? is it particularly hip to sound like you failed out of junior high english?
to answer the question proposed in that painful block of text above, no, I never use shorthand, not even when text messaging. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother though.
Almost too easy.:?i had a 360 and it got the red ring of death after 4 months. M$ said that i had to pay $160 to get it fixed. YEAH RIGHT!! after that, i sold it to some sucker for $300. easy money in my pocket

There's all kinds of **** and bananas flying around.:P
ok now that my anger is out and i can talk to you, it's not aversion at all...it's just that i type wuickly what i have to get out there cause i care bout the topic but i honestly dont care what anybody else thinks of me by the way im typing...i mean i speak properly, when i write on a job app., i also write properly and im the best in my english class at essays. but ya know this is just the computer and a forum on the computer...a gaming forum at that...im sure most of the people on here are smart, but frankly none of us,except for a select few, give a damn how are grammer looks on a forum. But ya know its cool and fine that you speak and type correctly and even txt...but its the critiquing and critizing ok? people get defensive and its just not appreciated...so lets keep this a happy place says i (the one who had the meanest post on this topic) and avoid critizing other people even on their english. So to the TC, yes i also believe that Gamespot is biased buts its only cause xbox360 is more popular in america...in japan its completely opposite.
So.... Peace

you used the wrong "its". "its" is a possessive therefore it would be "it's" which would be a contraction for "it is."
@ somesthetic
I don't understand what your problem is. For someone who seems to be so well educated (key word being "seems"), and who clearly has an interest in english literature, it boggles my mind to see you have well over 2000 posts on1 video game forum. Why dont you become a real writer and graduate from the ignorant forum whore who just loves to go around pointing out people's mistakes. That, or become a teacher...either way stop being an a**
yea its so easy to tell gamespot is biased against the ps3. every ps3 game thats exclusive gets rated bad. even other sites like ign,etc rate the games a lot better. i go on a review like ratchet or uncharted or heavenly sword, and it always suks, but then i look at the gamer and other critics ratings and they are A LOT higher
next year they better not do that: theres killzone 2, mgs4, ffxiii, gt5, the bigplanet coming out exclusive :D (resistance 2?, jak?)

Point being, don't correct others when you're not far yourself. He's not "TyPeInG lIkE tHiS" or "typng lik dis". Since it's "highest priority for displaying intelligence", does this make me smarter than you? Typing properly and all.
I know this is a little off topic, but how did you get your banner that lists what type of PS3 you have, the games you own, and the game you are currently playing? I see all kinds of images like this on the forums, but don't know how to get them.CrazyWerewolf
