It should. One question, do we get to vote when the time comes for GOTY award? If we do, MGS4 will definitely win. I've been following the GOTY threads in SYSTEM WARS and PS3 boards and MGS4 without any exception WON each and everyone of them. I'm talking more than 50 POLLS. Been following closely and trust me when I say, WITHOUT ONE EXCEPTION. MGS4 always came out the winner with the MOST votes. No matter what games you put on the list, MGS4 would come out the winner. There are LOADS of things going on in this game that makes you wanna jump and shout GOTY! It should win GOTY.
Belive me, I have already declared that MGS4 is GOTY. No competition whatsoever.

Oh you mean an epic masterpiece? Yeah thats how i think of it also. Kojima has always been consistant, he is a true genius.
Now the question is, what award/emblem should Kojima earn after giving us 20 years of perfection?
He should get The Boss Emble, that definetly would stand out from the other emblems from MGS4 (even the Big Boss one). lol
Nah but seriously though, Mr. Kojima can get any award and be praised like Mr. Miyamoto easily, but honestly not even the most prized award would be good enough.
