XMB opens by its self.

Hey.

I was playin' NHL 10 and the XMB just came up automatically. Without pushing the button. From time to time, It was really annoying. So I switched off the PS3, restarted the game, changed controller. But same problem. Then I changed game to MW2 and it's the same problem there. It's really annoying when you're going to kill someone and the XMB pop up.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

You sure you don't have another controller that have something that sitting on it? or maybe you have a brother that is messing with you? lolz

Yes I'm sure. Me and my buddy is playin' MW2 now, and the other controller is not in use.

the ps button on one of your controllers might be defective. try turning one of them off and see if it still happens, then try the other.
