because its not going to make them money duh...its all about timing

think about it, playstation 1 got the PsOne, ps2 got the ps2 slim, psp got the psp 2000, ps3 will obviously get a slimmer version, but people will still complain for those who have the original ps3 saying "why did you have to do that!!" " Sony has Backstabbed us!!" slimmer versions for the sony consoles is a trend that will never end

I'm pretty sure there will be a PS3 Slim, eventually. It took Sony awhile for them to hop on the idea of developing a slim version of the PS2.

Eitherway, slim or fat, they all have the same objective which is to play games.
