You already have a PS3, but would you do it?

I know most of us here have a PS3, but i'd like to ask this question, if you already had a PS3, would you sell it to get the limited ediiton Steel PS3 thats coming out exclusively for MGS4? (Its a Japan product but you can easily import it from websites.)

If you don't have a PS3, would you get this limited edition PS3 or just get a regular one?

(Also, do you guys think there will be another limited edition consle for a game like this or do you think this will be the only one?)

No, I wouldn't sell my black 60gb PS3 for a steel, silver, white, or any other color PS3.

If I didn't have a PS3, I would buy a black one, and only a black one.

If there was a white 60gb, I'd trade my black one for it, since I got the white DS3, but, I don't care about steel.

Yeah if that came out originally I would have bought it. That looks sweet I have to say, but I still like my black 60GB.

IMHO, and not meaning to troll, but it would depend on the circumstances. When I got mine in Nov 2007, there was some user posting a coupon on here for Kmart for 20% off anything over $75. So, I got my ps3 for $320. As I already own a 360 for gaming it wouldn't be worth getting a ps3 for $400 just for it's exclusives. Mine was primaryly purchased as a Blu Ray player, but I do enjoy the PS3's exclusives. So, for Blu Ray I would still purchase one, but as a gaming console I wouldn't. If I had to choose between a steel or black ps3, I'd pick the black one because it's a beautiful console.

Then the PS3 could truly do everything. I'd rather have a nice black teflon coating, so the burgers wouldn't stick either. lol

Agree. My bought mines on launch and camped for it, so selling it would mean the time I put into camping for it & having my boss see me on tv (when I called in sick for 3 days) & almost getting fired would be for nothing.

LOL thanks for the laugh. I would't consider buying a new one for the color or what it is made out of. I already shelled out the cash once and that was enough

Heck no!!!! It really doesn't make ANY SENSE IF you already have a perfectly working ps3.

THANK YOU. I'm totally with ya buddy. No doubt in my mind nothing beats the black PS3, throw the 60 GB in with that and its tops.

a ps3 is a ps3, unless they added more memory or something along those lines i wouldnt even think of buyinga new one. firebreathing
