that did get annoying because i put on the game and i went to go get something, when i went back i thought it would already be at the menu but i found out, it was only at that loading screen where you press xkobethebest

I think they are talking about the screen that boots up before the game saying something along the lines of:

"This game saves to the hard drive...blah blah blah."

I am kinda used to it now but the first week or so I kept forgetting about it.

it always pisses me off like i wanna do something and im trying to boot up the game and i have to press x, it's just annoying

I get tired when I miss the X button during cutscenes for flashbacks (since I'm so into it) and if I miss one of em, I end up restarting the scene or mission to make sure I see that flashback.anewperfectday

But it would been nice to see at end people building Snake statue or Campell telling about Solid Snake....Maybe in next mgs...?

People should be used to that by now...it's in almost every single game for the PS3...

You "hate" this about MGS4? It's.. it doesn't bother me one bit. I use the time to get a drink sometimes. sinistergoggles

The fact that I could go through the whole game without even caring one bit about using the codec was a let down for me....especially since it played an important role in the first two MGS games...not to mention the third...

If there was anything I would complain about, it would be the codec....it felt like a huge chunk of the mgs spirit was cut off with the lack of the immersive and diverse codec conversations.....

Next thing on my complain list is Otacon...but that's just my opinion of an individual character...

but I'm pretty sure many people will agree with me about the codec issue.

There are so many things about MGS4 that I could complain about...but the good thing is that it still doesn't make it a bad game.

i can kind of agree with the codec thing but their is enough cut scenes and even enough codec conversations already to be damn sure it kinda made me slightly conserned in act 2 only cus i was all zomg over raiden n wanted to talk with him lol otacon is a great character e is everything kojima the fans of the series and i expect him to be only way hes annoying is if you suck at the game in the midle east n he tells you that you are going the wrong direction and whatnot... my one buddy was getting frustrated with that just made me laugh

When you re-play the game. Why does it have to re-install each chapter again? I dont think its a pain. Since after the first, its like 3 minutes, for 3 hours of play or so. But still?truenextgen
