Your longest (real life) time to plat/100% a game?

Just wondering which game took you the longest time from the first trophy to plat/100% them. Which was it and why?

my personal would be Disgaea 3, I got my first trophy on the 19th July 2009 and my plat on the 26th July 2010, it took me 1 year and 7 days in real life to plat it. The reason was, that I got annoyed by the luck based trophies which was why I left the game. Once I heard that Disgaea 4 was announcced, i got back to 3 to finish it and got the plat

burnout it was 8 month or something i cant remember

I only have 2 plats, so probably around 10 days for Assassin's Creed 2.

about 12 days. That equaled about 22 game hours.

140 hours for the Fallout 3 Platinum. I could've gotten it a LOT quicker though, especially now where I think it'd take me three days to do it again.

Well I wouldn't say basing it off of "real time" is accurate, oonsidering breakd from playing the game and all. I know as far as hours, Fallout 3 took me the longest at aroung 45-50 hours, but most of that only took me a little over a week. I can't really accurately answer your question though, but I think it would be Burnout Paradise because I waited quite a few months to obtain a camera thing for the final trophy.

Dead Space, DA:O, and Infamous all have big month gaps between the trophies because I started them and stopped to play other games before going back to playing them.

Rock Band 2, cause i was trying to get the Bladder of Steel trophy and/or beating the Endless Setlist on Expert on all instuments the day after Christmas with my cousins, of course they were crazy enough to wanna start on 12 midnight, so we played up until 4am, got to song 46 out of 84, left the system on, then tried again until we got to song 82, which was Visions, which is the most difficult song in the game on every instument except vocals, we werent able to complete it, and i tried on Vocals expert later on and completed it, which was one of the reasons this game took forever to platinum

Around 100 hours for Demon's Souls plat. Though it's a great game, it's going to be a while before I get the motivation to pick it up and play it again.

Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires took me about a week real time, about 25-30 in-game hours, you can get all 42 bronze trophies in about 2-3 hours

I got demon's souls at launch and still don't have the platinum. i have to use one of my 9 yellow demon's souls and buy some miracle to get the last trophy but i don't need miracles so pshhh... i have well over 400 hours logged in my first trophy is from 10-6-09..

First trophy for RE5 was March 2009. I plan to finish it up finally in the next month, so that will be 1.5 years.

A lot of people in this thread misunderstood the TC apparently. He isnt talking about hours played, he is talking about how many weeks/months/years it took to reach platinum,

WipeoutHD . It took me a year to get Elite Campaign, Zone75 (I DIDN'T cheat), Zico and arcade perfect .

I got Dead Space when it came out, got the platinum a couple of months ago. So 18 months. It took 3 playthroughs and I didn't wanna get bored of it.Floppy_Jim

Hehe, it was my fastest platinum ever ... got it in three days . I had the same experience though with Prince of Persia . Not the new one, but the older cell shaded one . Started it a year ago, then platinummed it in four days or so .
