gran turismo is one of my all time favorite games, i was thinking i wasn't going to getGT5 but what i've seen so far looks amazing!, and so i'm gonna get it lol. the only things i don't like about GT5 is there going to have bikes i think.. and no bodykites but oh well..
I am second in gt3s bulgarian competition and i got my ps2 especially for this game but if they dont put damage i am gonna be very disappointed i dont wanna play the game over and over again just with little improvementsberzerknot
Indeed. I also love the GT series, and really hope damage is included in the final game... and NOT as an update.
I want to be excited about GT5...but after being spoiled by Forza 2 I can't say that it's going to be a must have game. Sure the game looks great...but after the disappointing physics in GT4 I was completely turned off. I own both the PS3 and the 360...I have every single GT and have been playing it forever (even bought the Logitech wheel for the PS2), so don't say that I'm a MS fanboy.
The reality of it is that Turn 10 did an insane job with Forza...and IMO the car physics make the game. From what was put out in GT4 and what I'm expecting out of GT5...Polyphony has continued on with the "car library" theme with the GT series.
I take it you have not drove a RWD car in Forza. lol And you dont drive many in real life either. Eclipse83Lives
I'veDRIVEN many RWD cars in Forza...as well as real life. All of the cars I've owned up to this point have been either AWD or RWD (Audi A4 and S4, FC RX7, Mitsu Evo, S2000, S13, 06 350z currently). I also do HPDEs and Open Track days so I have experience on the track in these cars. The reality of it is when you get a 700hp RWD car it is going to move around on you a lot (which is what I'm guessing you're implying by your comment). When you have all of the driver assists off (which is how you should be playing the game) the cars react just as they should.
I shouldn't even have to make any comments about just the damage physics. Let's face it...GT has cemented it's place in the arcade arena. Yes it looks great, has a bunch of cars, and a bunch of tracks...but as far as a true "simulator" goes...Forza has taken the title.
