Your reaction to COD7 coming out about next year

well i just read about news on cod7 at the homepage of gamespot

i dont like it much because they are making MW2 and getting it all hyped up then they come out with news of cod7

they really need to slow down we wont even have time to enjoy MW2

it could even kill their franchise because they are basically squeezing out everything they can

they really need to take their time.

what about everyone else? what are your thoughts

treyarch is making cod7 so we already know it's terrible..

In relation of COD7 or whatever it will be subtitled at I shale see how I feel before EVEN considering getting excited for this. I mean COD:WAW felt like a horrid game with broken MP even when they patched the game it was horrid to play.

To be honest i think after the whole "oh **** here comes COD:MW2" reaction which changed since they renamed it MW2 I think (and sorry so sorry to all the COD fanboys out there personal veiw) but I highly doubt I will rent it after the whole mess of WAW

Well MW2 is just going to be another life waster of many people who say stuff like this: "I've reached level 10 prestige 3 times!"

I pray to God it's abosolutley rubbish so I can actually talk with my friends at school and the subject not be about COD!!! I also want my PSN friends not to be on COD all the time either. So I can play with them...

I think that Call of Duty has officially become the Madden of FPS. A extremely popular series that is released every year during a specific month that turns out be good despite only offering mild improvements.

Now, the MAIN reasons MOST people did NOT like WaW, wasn't because it felt and played like CoD4, but because it was set in WWII, it was made by Treyarch (for some reason a lot of people still have yet to forgive them for CoD3, so they just assume WaW wasn't worth playing "because Treyarch made it"), and because it just wasn't as good as CoD4. Yes it used the same game engine, and basically had the same "feel" as CoD4, but it just wasn't as good overall as CoD4... ;)

People will love MW2 because:

1- IW is making it

2- CoD4 was GREAT, so people automatically will assume this will be as well (they will also assume it will be great b/c of reason #1)

3- There doesn't have to be any major improvements in MW2. CoD4 was a near perfect FPS. It's going to be hard to make any significant improvments, but if IW does, then that is just a bonus for people like me who plan on buying the game :)
