Sony games + third party games = gold so it doesn't matter much to me.Don't forget , the PS3 has been picking up a lot of games from other platforms as well.
Dont care as long as Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, and Final Fantasy stay exclusive...atleast for a considerable length of time...I need a nice set of reasons to own both consoles....
Exclusives are the only real excuse I have right now...
this could be the one thing that could sway people away from the ps3 in the mainstream's eyes i know it made me think long and hard about getting at ps3 but i still feel it was worth the money

lol....this fact seems to be slipping past people who make post like this. Also if you look at the new generations of exclusive tittles:
KillZone
God of War
Heavenly Sword
RFOM
just to name a few, Sony will be more than ok....those tittle alone could carry the ps3.lol
Lol this is a pretty old topic to bring up. Looking back on it though, it seems as if we've gained as many exclusives we have lost. As long as Playstation Gems such as MGS, DMC, and FF stay exclusive then PS3 owners will be happy. It doesnt really matter if another console has the same game ie games like DDR, Rainbow Six, and games like that. Just means that more people get to play.

 ehh, who cares about exclusives. It doesn't bother me if a game is an exclusives or not as long as its a good enough game for me to spend money on. Thats all I care about.

What are you talking about..?? I was just naming a few tittles that could carry the ps3 and I know people already knew this!!! And those games were NOT made by Sony (DUUH) they were published by them(DUH)
Seriously the more they pop up the more people think Sony is really in a tough spot when they arnt. 90% of the titles that have gone multiplatform is due to Money, installed player base, and back room deals. We're talking about titles that were likely going to go multiplatform eventually anyway they just did it sooner because they can make the money now rather than waiting for a couple million more PS3s to be sold. And sony is dong a very good job of bringing in new developers and creating new franchaises, So as long as a game stays multiplatfor instead of going exclusivly to another console there's NOTHING wrong here.

You just created a topic that you hope would bring in other trolls like you but tried to make it seem harmless so you can say, when called a troll, "what? troll? all I asked was for thoughts on the matter. it seems YOU are the troll" Remember, games are only considered exclusive if they are already known to be played on a particular console platform. The only game that fits the bill of an exclusive game going going multiplat is GTA. Any other game like AC has never come out for only the PlayStation brand. However, how come you don't ask this question about 360 exclusives?
i feel its because everyone is waiting for the "system seller" game to be released, and none of the developers want their games to come out before that happens. If you had a game that was looking to score a solid 8.5/10, but wouldn't generate enough hype to cause somebody to buy a ps3 solely for your game, if you want to make any money you've either got to delay it until the ps3 consumer base is MUCH larger, or port it to the 360. Both of which are happening pretty regularly to the ps3 right now. Hopefully the european launch will fix this, but who knows for sure.

They were made by 3rd party developers loyal to sony and studios owned by them. so it's close enough. God of war and Killzone DO belong to sony, just as SoCom does.
I havent lost any game I was really interested about. AC is STILL coming to PS 3 so its not a big deal, and we still have MGS, DMC and FF, which are more than enough reasons to get the system. Then you have the new IPs, like Motorstorm, R: FoM, HS, White Knight Story, Lair and then you have the multi plat games.
