I will tell you about console wars1,2,and 3 plus the handhold war.The sega and nintendo first battle ended with playstation bashing them and the second ended with sega`s new console being wiped away by ps2.Sony remains top of the board and then nintendo`s third place system gamecube hit stores and microsoft`s xbox,the weapon that was sent to take done sony emerged and achieved the rank of 2nd place.Now the battle continues with microsofts early launch for xbox360 and the wii and ps3 coming soon to bash the competition.But the nintendo had reinforcements and they were gameboy,gameboy color,gameboy  advance,and gameboy advance sp and sony`s psp made them history but the nintendo DS came along but failed but raised twins ds lite and gameboy micro and now I am sorry to say but sony may just lose the handhold war.
The handheld war is funny. The DS sells more, but everyone knows that the PSP won, as it is the better of the two by alot.

The PSP is clocked at 333MHz, and the DS at 67MHz. The PSP has 16,770,000 colors, and the DS has 26,000. The PSP has 2MB of video memory and 32MB of RAM, while the 656KB of video memory and 4MB of RAM back up the DS. Technically, it is pitiful.
well it should be about the quality of games at the end of the day really, not technical specs. Though PSP has great specs for a portable, shame not many developers use it to its potential :/

Somthing us PSP owners whine about alot. I have pretty good games though. Mega Man: Powered Up, Wipeout Pure and X-Men Legends are among my favorites.
But soon we shall have the entire PSOne arsenal to back us up!!!:D
Yeah , I agree , the PSP is way batter technically , than the DS , and for games , there is GTA , Loco Roco , Tekken : DR , Daxter , and many , many others .
And the same with the X-Box. It is twice as weak technically, and there are only a handful of good games coming out. Where as the PS3 will have Assassins Creed, Killzone 3, Warhawk, Ridge Racer, Tekken 6, Haze, Final Fantasy XIII and many more by next year's time.Â
