Looks like the snowflake in chief can't handle protesters and people disliking him, lol.

Donald Trump has told Theresa May in a phone call he does not want to go ahead with a state visit to Britain until the British public supports him coming.

The US president said he did not want to come if there were large-scale protests and his remarks in effect put the visit on hold for some time.

The call was made in recent weeks, according to a Downing Street adviser who was in the room. The statement surprised May, according to those present.

The conversation in part explains why there has been little public discussion about a visit.

May invited Trump to Britain seven days after his inauguration when she became the first foreign leader to visit him in the White House. She told a joint press conference she had extended an invitation from the Queen to Trump and his wife Melania to make a state visit later in the year and was “delighted that the president has accepted that invitation”.

According to Number 10, no plans have changed (as reported by the BBC), but they're not denying the phone conversations took place.

I guess we'll see.

The UK is one of our oldest and strongest allies, and Trump made a promise to visit which he has yet to fulfill (I'm shocked! :P ).

And he refuses because people don't like him? WTF he has a <36% approval rating in HIS country!

Lol what drugs are you on? Merkel and Macron are riding high, while Britain is a laughing stock. People like you told us all that the refugee crisis would bring down Merkel. That Germany would be consumed by nationalist hatred. Wrong. They told us Macron was a hopeless upstart who would be defeated by the corrupt right or the racist far-right. Wrong. They told us that the Netherlands and Austria would elect far-right leaders. Wrong. Today they still predict that Europe is doomed, while its economy recovers and Macron-Merkel provide its strongest leadership in decades.

In short, Britain's self-image as the dynamic outpost of a stagnating continent looks increasingly delusional.

Ahh you must be French, no one else has that kind of delusions.

Merkel and Macron are not riding any where, sure in EU they have something to say which is why the UK had enough and left.

But as to the world, no one really listens to them,.

He's Dutch but I can see why you'd feel that way about the UK...they are getting closer and closer to becoming the new USA and that's why the rest of the EU has said good riddance to them. And yes, the EU is laughing at both the UK's and the US's leaders at the moment, so is the rest of the world. Trump supporters wanting to believe that your country is not going downhill by pointing at another country going downhill and saying "See? Those guys are doing great as well" isn't going to change that.

What are you talking about, Americans do not want him? Americans democratically elected Trump majority, most disagree with the results of the election, the "greatest defenders of democracy."

If this reasoning is genuine (and I suspect it's not) I guess Trump is never going to the U.K. then. He'll get protests anywhere he goes, and if he keeps up what he's doing they're only going to grow. The biggest baby on the planet. Perhaps he should have some more rallies so he can have everyone fellatiate his delusional sense of greatness.

The silver lining here is that IF Trump makes it through his term(s), he will no longer be insulated by the presidency and will have to live life as a civilian. Wherever he goes he's going to run into people that hate his guts. He's hated in New York apparently. He'll still have SS protection but won't be nearly so shielded from criticism as he is now.

He'll never live life as he used to, which he's stated he misses.

UK and US have always been the same, after all the US is England´s baby.

Remember England owned 1/4 of the world once.

And as to the rest of europe throwing anyone away, well that won't happen since neither the french or the germans have enough balls to fight anyone anywhere, neither do they have the manpower, they have relayed on the US and UK for so long that they have grown into nothing but puppets who sit in the EU and think they can win the world over by being rolling over and playing dead.

Just look at the terrorist attacks and the refugees swarming into Germany and France.

The protests at Trump's inauguration and the protests of his travel ban were larger than the actual crowd at his inauguration.

Never said i was speaking for anyone but myself. You know it's called having a opinion

And protesting against a democratically elected leader is as dumb as the snowflakes in the Us who wear p. hats. Not to mention that Germany and France never have been allies of Britain , so perhaps some people should remember who their friends are.
