Well, it is what republicans actually want, regardless of their bullshitting about "states rights". Lindsay isn't going to be president though. Not no way, not no how.

I think the voting base is split somewhere around 60/40 on that one. Enough voting republicans want abortion outlawed to prevent anyone remotely pro-choice from coming out of a primary, but if you put it to a statewide vote like Kansas recently did, it's a losing issue.

@PurpleMan5000: I'm of the opinion that Republican voters will be more than happy to get behind a national ban on abortion the moment there appears to be wide spread support among Republican politicians in congress
