How about you make it interesting. If you are wrong you can't post in the Political forums until May.

Make it even more interesting, if he is wrong he will leave gamespot and never come back.

But nice one liner spam thread.

I think most people will be shocked and not understand why he is still in office in March.

I dont know how its going to end, but I do feel fairly confident that he will not run in 2020. but even that might be possible beleive it or not

Oh look, two of the most hardcore Trump supporters quoting each other. Really cute. I wonder how much Putin is paying both of you, comrades.

If you know anything about court proceedings, it will take years.

tax crimes are impeachable.

that said, even if he doesn't get indicted its looking likely that his son and daughter and son in all all will and that he absolutely will once he leaves office.

And will be 53-45-2 after Christmas.

Which means that Democrats would have to turn 19 Republicans and Mancini

Hahahaha, I still call it 50/50 that he gets reelected. Never underestimate how stupid the average voter is or how morally bankrupt the republicans in congress are. Both of those groups are needed to take the president to task, and I don't think they would do it even if Trump's crimes were presented as a clear cut case.

exact.

more over, I think the Russian thing is going to turn out to be many in the GOP (senate and congress), not just Trump.

2019 is going to be interesting and hard to predict.

I think the answer to 'why doesnt the GOP dump Trump and pick up Pence, dont they know in the long run that would be better for them?' is 'because they are compromised by the Russians as well

You nuts have been saying that since Inauguration Day. Just enjoy your tax breaks, lower unemployment, and a president who is doing something about illegal immigration. Sit back and relax with one of the best president’s in US history. The next 6 years will go smoothly.

Knowing a lot of Trump supporters, they'd vote for him if he showed up in robes and declared himself king. They aren't interested in politics per se, but rather are more interested in the pure schadenfreude of the whole thing.

I honestly think it's the downfall of the U.S. You would think for a second they were the leaders of a so called democracy, but my god these times are scary. I actually disagree, I don't see him getting reelected. Democrats went to sleep in 2016. Crap candidate, and didn't go out to vote due to arrogance. They ain't making that mistake twice.

Honestly, Hillary is probably the 'best' candidate he could have run against. He pulled out a hail mary and all the chips fell into place, she ignored battleground states even when Bill said they needed to hit them hard.

I hope you're right on 2020 predictions.

Democrats just need someone that can energize the base. Right now, Beto or Sanders seem like the obvious choice. Anyone that bores the base I simply cannot see getting people out to vote, for example Biden. Even if he seems very popular now and the most out there choice, it's a mistake. I can't see him moving minority votes like Beto or Sanders < Even though they are white, they are extremely popular with the non-white crowd.

Damnit if Michelle Obama would just run! She's a brilliant orator, extremely popular and would feel like a return to the Obama era which at least was not crazy as hell. PLEASE OBAMA, GET THE REVENGE.

Beto is a good one. Sanders, the moment may have passed. Biden is too old as well. Maybe Kamala Harris, but she needs to be more inclusive. None of this, guilt and shame stuff.

Honestly Harris does nothing for me. I do agree with you, but I'll be honest with you. Almost none of the democratic prospects do anything for me. Either too old, too white, too whatever.

Beto, however. It's like a pale Obama. Something about him is magical. The fact he almost turned the impossible Texas blue shows he can energize the base.

Charisma. Obama won because he appealed to the better nature of all people. You weren't a villain if you were white. You were like everyone else, you want whats best for the country.

Trump will make it through the next two years GOP doesn't care what he does as long as they get their tax cuts that's all that counts to them but I like your optimism. I had it last year but this year proved to me that Trump will get away with anything he wants 2020 will be interesting.

According to polls, there is only one person right now who is not trailing Trump and that is Biden

Beto may have the progressives hot in their pants but he lacks a lot of general Charisma and if you can´t even beat Cruz on home turf then you can´t beat Trump.

Warren, Sanders, Kamela all again lack a general appeal and will have a hard time attracting moderate Democrats and independents and remember they are important to get to the polls if anyone wants to beat Trump.

Same goes for all the other candidates who have been mentioned.

Yeah, Beto. Beto doesn't have much of a chance. Republicans don't like him because he's not conservative enough. Democrats don't like him because he's not liberal enough. Joe Biden is a centrist. His likely of choice for VP is Beto. Makes sense. Sanders likely choice of VP would prolly be Kamala. She allied toward him during the 2016 elections. It would make sense since she is younger than Warren.

Knowing a lot of Trump supporters, they'd vote for him if he showed up in robes and declared himself king. They aren't interested in politics per se, but rather are more interested in the pure schadenfreude of the whole thing.

He's got himself a core constituency which I would describe only as a cult.

They would have won with anybody but Hillary. I easily see them taking 2020.

Okay, first off shut your mouth Trump supporter. You have no idea what we democrats want. So don't quote me again with your Russian predictions.

I think Beto will pull off a Trump. The one nobody sees coming. Plus the democratic party is calling out for progressive candidates. The votes will seal the deal. I do agree. It will be a close call between Biden and Beto. At the end of the day it's who will get people out to vote and energize the base. It will be a battle between progressives and moderates. 2020 is going to be interesting.

I think a lot of people we saw in the record breaking midterm turn out did exactly what I did for the first time in 24 years.

walk in and vote straight ticket, walk out, no idea which democrat they voted for. People of sound mind are that level pissed.

Why March? What do you see happening between now and then that will be so bad that it throws a republican majority Senate into such chaos that it's seriously a possibility that they are willing to (or at the very least consider) impeaching the president?

he will not resign, he will not be forced out. his boot-lickers in the senate and house will do what they can to cover for him.

if you want an alternative, do something about it in 2020

Beto won't make it. Did you even watch him in some of the questions he was being asked going against Cruz? He wouldn't even answer them most of the time and when he did, he embarrassed himself a lot. Bring on Beto and GO TRUMP!

that is lame response, absolutly nothing to gain for you by taking that tactic. all it does is highlight the difference between the two which will inspire others to look more into it.

people on the right are so moronic when it comes to tactics. because what is going to be the first ask when you take that tactic? well it will be 'give me an example' and then the light shines

@tryit: Is this a joke? I don’t even understand what you wrote or what you are trying to say. I would try to contest it, but your response was very hard to understand.

I think he should be impeached just for paying off 2 women he had affairs with as a coverup to win the election. I mean he's done so much other stuff though, but that's enough for me. Damn, it's nearly unfathamable how many lies he tells about everything.

With senate on his back, i doubt it. Unless a major much brutal civil war happens compared to the Yellow Jackets movement. And all of those who rioted wants Trump gone from Presidency.

You see, Trump still has above 40% approval. Which is more than twice Macron's approval. Also, it's going up. So it won't gonna happen at March.

I think he'll finish his term, get charged with a ton of different fraudulent offences, and then die before he goes to prison.

Things move too slowly to impeach him by March.
