The FISA memo went from being a national security concern to a nothingburger.

Wew, lad. Sure fooled the public.

I never said it was a national security concern.

But yes, the entire point of this thing was to fool the public. No actual FISA laws were shown to be broken. It also confirmed the investigation began before the Carter Page warrant.

Democratic leaders were calling it a national security concern.

Considering the SMS between FBI agents, You tell me where FBI is.

And Wray, So what is it, FBI not-partisan ? or they are and Wray is republican?

And the only losing constantly is you.

Two FBI agents. You would have to provide proof the entire FBI is biased and left.

Christopher Wray, the FBI leader, is a Republican. This is not up for debate.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_A._Wray

Mueller is a repubican, this is not up for debate.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Mueller

Rod Rosenstein was appointed by Trump, was appointed by Republicans.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Rosenstein

The DOJ and FBI, as per those men, have stated this is Memo hogwash. The memo it self contains no suggestion or direct naming of FISA laws broken. There has been zero actions taken, or results. It's political theater.

The facts do not lie in your court. As usual, your citation is either poor or nonexistent.

I guess it went through enough scrubbing. Unfortunately for the GOP, the memo shows zero FISA laws broken and has had zero impact.

So, on one hand, you say the memo is hogwash, but at the same time you know how hard they fought to keep it from being released, you don´t see anything wrong there?

You can´t have it both ways Zaryia.

As to Mueller and Wray, well muller got extended by Obama so how republican is he. But it´s not unknown that Republican is a broken party, just look at Mccain, once a hated senator, now beloved because he has some personal shit with Trump.

So as per normal, you whitewash facts to fit your leftist views. It´s nothing new and not surprising.

The GOP lied to perpetuate a narrative, yes, we know this now that the memo is released and was a nothing burger.

Did the DNC over-react too? Yeah, sure. But they aren't the ones with egg on their faces right now. This wasn't their fumble. That'll come on Monday if they release an equally silly memo that the FBI and DOJ scoff at.

Yeah they just happened to overreact in the exact same way that perpetuated their preexisting narrative. Odd that many are still attempting to push that narrative even after the memo was released, but with the right mental gymnastics I guess anything is believable.

Of course, I am not a partisan propaganda fountain.

Heck it is my default position that every single word or action preformed by a politician is done to advance their agenda.

Speaking of political agendas, the GOP Memo is nothing like the Mueller Investigation as far as that is concerned, correct?

Someone doesn't need to be partisan to think your deflections are a silly waste of time. If you want people to value you enough to think you are worth indulging, perhaps you should consider a new idol.

I agree with your post:

"Of course, I am not a partisan propaganda fountain.

Heck it is my default position that every single word or action preformed by a politician is done to advance their agenda."

Sorry if it appeared like a deflection to ask a simple question in response to it. Now will you answer the question? As one independent to another. I'm just curious if you find the Mueller Investigation as partisan as that GOP Memo was. This isn't a trick question.......man everyone is so uptight about politics these days lol.

Being objective isn't always the same as being neutral. Sorry.

Speaking of Trump, are you still ignoring or denying multiple studies and facts because of your opinion? I mean, I'd do that to if I always got obliterated on the facts.

I don't think he's a Trump troll.

His issue is he puts far too much emphasis at neutrality while completely disregarding objectivity. Which is why he can't answer simple questions regarding the GOP Memo vs. the Mueller Investigation. He's trying to appear neutral, but he knows the answer to the question is that the GOP Memo was more partisan from what we know of both, objectively. So he simply can't answer it.

This can be problematic, especially in fact based arguments.

You folks are hilarious. Being at war with both parties doesn't made someone neutral. How far do you have to bury your head in propaganda to think someone who wants to bulldoze DC is neutral?

@kittennose: Perhaps neutral was the wrong term - I struggled with which to use myself.

The bottom line is that you try to convince yourself that two sides are equal regardless of their actual qualities. I'm intentionally avoiding naming parties because you do this outside of political party discussions as well. If something isn't perfect (and in some cases merely can't be verified to be perfect) you have a tendency to equate it to being just as terrible as something that is proven to be even more terrible on a regular basis.

It's OK to acknowledge that one party is imperfect while still being better than another just like it's OK to admit that some unknown credit union may be ethically superior to the habitually morally bankrupt Wells Fargo.

I don't think both sides are equal, I think both are disgusting. I don't see any reason to twist myself into intellectually dishonest knots so that I can rank one version of woefully inadequate and unethical higher then another.

If you like donkey droppings better then elephant droppings then fine, personal preference I am not going to judge. I am however sticking with my baby carrots and little tiny oranges. It is nice to snack on something other then predigested talking points.

Why are the FBI, DOJ, and intelligence folks fighting the release of the memo. I think it is going to show some top officials in those agencies broke the law. Everyone should want to see what happened and prevent it from happening again. The next time you could be on the receiving end of the abuse of power.

because the memo is a fake basically. The hint to that is in the OP title

Fake, the FBI did not call it fake. The FBI asked for some changes and they were made for them, and then they complained it was changed. You would rather let individuals in the government use their office to abuse your rights and get away scott free to do it again to put a stop to their abuse. The FBI and the DOJ let Hillary and her minions get away because she was Hillary do you think you would have received the same treatment if it had been you? Orange would now be your new clothing color.

did I say the FBI called it a fake?

not sure what the confusion is with the title of the OP

@zaryia: Nice deflection.

But answer this, Why do you think the Democrats and a few Republicans fought so hard to not have the memo released? why do you think the FBI recommend against it?

If as you say it´s all a "fake memo"

But it´s funny, with you, you believe a dossier which has 0 credible information in it, all paid for by the Clintons but not a memo that clearly has substance.

Can you do anything but circular logic?

Just because someone may have been appointed by a Republican does not mean they can´t be biased towards a Republican.

And resarch? you can´t research the circular logic you keep presenting.

Can you do anything but circular logic?

Just because someone may have been appointed by a Republican does not mean they can´t be biased towards a Republican.

And resarch? you can´t research the circular logic you keep presenting.

Those individuals are Republicans. sigh

And? you want to try with other than circular logic here.

I'm sensing you aren't understanding the thread.

That right the Dems called it fake because it shows their hand in the cookie jar.
