Two things

1. That's not how things work in the current world.

2. Historians still argue over it to this day but I'm sure you have it all figured out.

1. Yeah, the oppressors made everything hard for the jews and other indigenous groups

2. historians also claim that modern white-europeans are closely related to ancient egyptians

All that doesn't matter here, a historical right to the land is not a thing in modern society. The United States is living proof of that.

Peace wasn't the aim. Enabling a Final Solution to the Palestinian Problem was, obviously.

After all, the only way to bully someone you have kept down is to keep throwing rocks at them until they lose their mind. Play the victim well enough and people will even cheer you as you enact some radical means of "self protection".

Sure worked for the US after 911. A few people with box cutters was a great auspices to liberate the hell out of some Iraqi oil.

You can't have a debate with someone when they default to some historical 'manifest destiny' on the issue.

He's faithfully executing the law passed by the congress and signed in to law by a previous president. How dare he.

It's called the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995. Passed overwhelmingly by both houses of congress. Voted for by my many of the current politicians that are criticizing Trump for following the law they voted for.

@comeonman: Regardless of when it was passed and by whom, the law was waived off 3 times due to concerns with regards to international policy and national security. Those problems are worse now than ever before, so it takes an absolute monster or idiot of a President to bring it into effect. Not to mention the illegalities involved considering Jersusalem's eastern border is not internationally recognised and was annexed from Jordan, a dispute which has never been resolved.

But hey, let us not allow the truth to get in the way.
