@zaryia: For me, its not the fact that they are dumb; it's their indifference towards such crimes.

Liberals’ mindset of guilty until proven innocent and “believe all women” is scary.

I hope that none of you in here nor myself ever find ourselves presumed guilty if we are accused of something and are actually innocent. Unlike Trump, we won’t have billions in the bank to pay our way out of it.

Presumably you would at least show up in your own defense.

Maybe have your own witnesses, your own evidence etc.

Also, he wasn't presumed guilty....he was found guilty.

I wonder how the cons around these parts can even tie their shoelaces. Jesus....

I'm curious what the tally is at this point for Republicans and Christians in positions of power that are confirmed sex pests.

Why is it that the right can't stop voting in uncle touchy and the diddler gang, even though they're also the loudest about groomers and deviants.

The cult is always so concerned about the children yet votes for an assumed and convicted sex abuser, who frequented a paedophile's house and openly says he finds his own daughter sexy. Yeah, nothing wrong here.

@kathaariancode: That is nothing but virtue signalling.

If they actually did care, they would actually push for policies that do concern them. Things like climate change, gun control, advocate for child independent mobility, push for greater funding of schools... and not try to raise the minimum voting age. Because when these kids grow up, they vote overwhelmingly against them.

And then there is this, notice how the south, incl texas and florida, the ones heavily pushing the culture wars, are trailing behind?

If they truly cared about the well being of children, they would look to emulate countries like the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

Yeah they don't actually care about any of that,

  • Anti-‘Groomer’ Republican Accused of ‘Inappropriate Relationship’ With Intern (vice.com)
  • Bryan Slaton’s downfall could complicate GOP fight against “groomers” | The Texas Tribune
  • Republicans Make a Case for Child Marriage (newsweek.com)
  • Why Republicans are pushing to weaken child labor laws - Vox

On a note any time there's contention on new child marriage restriction laws, it's the GOP who give push back. It eventually gets done but why is that the one party who gives any pushback?

Fucking weird.

LOL, E Jean Carroll is probably going to sue him again for repeated defamation. Trump can't just let it slide. Hope she bleeds him dry.

If the judge had any balls, he’d be holding his ass in contempt right now, as he’s already been warned. Trump flagrantly flips the bird to him, and they let him get away with it. Pathetic.

@MirkoS77: not sure the judge in that case would be involved, but curious whether that civil case already being decided would mean whether he sexually abused her would be litigated, just whether the defamation took place, which could help her, then again part of the reason rhe previous civil lawsuit required a unanimous verdict was because of the defamation part of it, it may too require a unanimous verdict which may make it hard to pursue again, so we'll have to see

Plus despite what he said on TV, he said pretty similar stuff days before the actual verdict while golfing overseas so I'm sure if/when she brings an additional civil lawsuit it might be over a series of his repeated statements, probably any instance he's asked about it I expect him to say something that'll get him in trouble later.
