What are the best NES games of all time?

I say Super Mario Bros. 3 was perfect for being the best single and multi-player game of the generation and still is the most perfect game to date despite its age, as it's minimal artstyle still looks good today for an 8-bit title

Mega Man 4. It has the charging buster, slide, and the difficulty is on the harder side of the classic series. I think it's pretty underrated since 2 & 3 seem to get all the love.

Mike Tysons punch out, original zelda, mario 1, 2 and 3, Contra.

Without a doubt, it has to be Legend of Zelda. I'll go with that.

I've always liked the NES Mega Man games. They have aged pretty well for NES games too.

Out of all the Nintendo franchises, Mega Man has the most devout following IMO. Their value has skyrocketed as well.

Silver Surfer, Ghostbusters, Dick Tracy, Rambo, and Fester's Quest.

Legend of Zelda, SMB, Tecmo Bowl, Contra, and Rygar come to mind.

These are all great games I'll add one to the list Blaster Master.

Thread needs more Journey to Silius love...it's basically a harder Mega Man-like game which you can't go wrong with!!!

I really need to play this one, looks good. I haven't heard about it in a while or seen it anywhere so almost forgot about it.

My favorites are Super Mario Bros. 3, Mega Man 2, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Contra, and Super Dodge Ball

Dragon Warrior 4. I loved that game. Also Super Mario 2 and RC Pro Am.

I enjoyed many NES games, but some of my best memories are with Jackal and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers :)

I adore so many NES games, but SMB3 and Mike Tysons Punch Out are the two I enjoy revisiting the most.

Adventure Island 3. The gameplay with all the dinosaurs each with its own moves was a nice touch. I remember using the flying dino on one level and finding a lot of hidden secrets up in the skies.
