Has anyone else noticed this? GameStop is selling old school games. I was browsing their website and scrolling through the page. At the bottom there was a N64 console! Hot damn, that's cool! I searched for NES games and there were some on there. What do you guys think? Sorry if this was already posted, I just found out.

Yes they are selling Retro games as of now but this comes at a price, I mean pricey. They are overcharging Retro games at a higher deals then let's say, you could find a better deal on any retro game on Ebay for a lot less.

Yeah, I hear ya. I could probably get a better deal on amazon used even with a few dollars shipping.

You are better off going to a retro style video game store or eBay. GameStop has always been known to screw over their customers. This is just another way to take money from their customers. They sold retro-style games before and only made me stay away due to their outrages prices.

I don't see any reason not to continue buying games from ebay at those prices, many of the older games can be bought with the original packaging in tact for the same price Gamestop will charge for just the cart/disc.

I think it's a good thing because it sets a limit on what something can cost. Nobody is going to buy from a private seller or weird back alley store for more money than GS, so those other sources have to keep their prices down to draw you in.

My personal biggest issue is the condition of the game/accessories. The prices aren't fantastic, that's for sure, but I would like to know the condition of the product that I am interested in.
