How large is your PS2 Collection?

Hi guys I've just been wondering how many of you still have a PS2 and play it, and how many games, consoles, controllers and memory cards do you have in your collection???

At the moment I have two Slimline consoles (70 000 model and a 90 000 model), both are fantastic and the original still works like new....

I have seven 8mb memory cards as well as a custom made 125mb card.

six controllers with a multitap

a FreeMCBoot memory card to play backups without destroying the warranty on my consoles...

55 original PS2 games

90 backup games ( PAL and NTSC region games)

My top 5 games are:

1. Just Cause. (Much BETTER than San Andreas)

2. Smackdown Shut Your Mouth (Best roster IMO)

3. Gran Turismo 4 (Best simulator out there)

4. Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Biggest MK roster ever!!!)

5. Killzone (Some of the best split screen multiplayer on PS2, was great online a few years ago :P)

I don't have my PS2 anymore.. but I will always remember it as the greatest console I've ever had. My collection wasn't so large.. my top 10 are:

Heh, like 6 games. Used to be big, but I've moved on save for a few favorites. I actually really enjoy retro-gaming, but found my experiences with PS2 more "consumable" and less collectible.

I have maybe 10 games for the PS2, but the games I do have I really got into. I have several HUNDRED hours in Star Ocean III: Till the End of Time because I keep restarting it after 100 hours (long story) and I'm finally up to the final main-game boss! I've never been much of a collector as I only ever buy a few games per system, but I dig deep into what I have.

I have a slim PS2 (original fatty lens messed up by the time of the slim's release.) At its prime I had probably 50-60 games for it but dramatically down-scaled with the advent of better editions, collections, etc. It was a simple setup of two controllers and three memory cards, all official. I didn't do backups but I did Japanese imports for a time and that would probably be one of the few things I return to the system for. At this point I probably have a dozen or so games left for it. Some of my favorite (in no ranked order) would be:

I have only 11 PS2 games as of now but I used to have around 24 games but ended up trading them cause of the remakes PS3 they been doing but anyways my PS2: God of War, God of War 2, Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo, Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front, Gundam Battle Assault 3: Featuring Gundam Seed, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Star Ocean: Till the end of Time, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Kindom Hearts 2, and Oni.

About 30 games Gradius V RType Final Haunting Ground Metal Slug Anthology All of the Onimusha and Silent Hill games.

I have around 170. Not even close to the amount of games that I still want for the system.

My PS2 collection

Maybe 40 or 50. It's the biggest collection I have for any console.

I have 162 PlayStation 2 games. I have a Phat PlayStation 2 console 5000 series, a PlayStation 2 slim 7000 series sliver and the final PlayStation 2 model revision the 9000 series. So all 3 versions of the PS2 console, a fighting stick, the PS2 DVD remote. and Gameshark 2 and Action replay Max and finally a PS2 guitar for Guitar Hero. I have 9 official PS2 memory cards for my game saves.

So that is my PlayStation 2 collection. this far. I have 2 more games on the way. Purchased on-line and waiting to receive them via mail. So 164 games will be the total when they arrive. Sony's PlayStation 2 is my second favorite game system.

my PS2 game collection is the 2nd most number of games I have for a single system. The most is for PS3 which I have 171 PS3 games.

But I didn't count downloaded games I have off the PSN store I have a few PS2 classics which I didn't include since they don't count. I have a Japan PS3 with some Japan only "Shoot them Ups".

I'm at about 150 (unsure of the exact number).

I believe I have around 100 PS2 games, maybe a little under that.

71 games and a couple of dupes.

i should have collected a couple more games but i was on a budget towards the tail end of the gen

Only about 15 games currently. I'm concentrating on building my nintendo collection then i'm going to concentrate on sony.

I have roughly 140 PS2 games, still have a lot of good games to get, haven't got any of the .hack games yet. I'll focus on the PS2 once I've finished getting 100% of the OG Xbox games.

One of the images from my collection, I recently added ChoroQ, God of War 1 & 2, Ico and Killer7. Also all of the doubles you see here are because one copy(the non GH) is sealed.

I currently have a slimline PS2 with one controller and two memory cards. My collection is basically just FFXII and DQVIII, which in my personal opinion are the two best games on the system. As for most everything else I had for the system at some point, I either tired of the games or else bought HD re-releases for the PS3.
