It does appear as Nintendo is the new home of Sonic as some recent sales figures have shown.
First of all those who thought Sega's prediction of 4 million units sold for "Mario and Sonic at the Olympics" was outrageous can enjoy a nice meal of crow as it was announced that the game sold 5 million units now worldwide (just the Wii version). So people can complain it sucks or it was cheezy, people bought it (I did) because it was Mario and Sonic together!
This as well as Brawl helped sell more copies of "Sonic and the Secret Rings" which has finally hit the million mark so it shows that there's truly a renewed interest in Sonic beyond our loyal fanbase.
Also if you avoided it like the plague but still wanted to try it, you can now get "Sonic Next Gen" at the low price of $20 (less if used). Maybe I'll finally just go and get it to see how bad it really is.
