I'd have to say the Babylon Guardian was quite stupid. All he did was: "Greedy Fools! Those who seek treasure will find only... RAAAAH!" Then, he flies around some track, laying some not-so-clever traps on the path, then gets his butt kicked. What a disappointment. At least the ending was comical. What about you guys?

Well, mine's the Death Egg act 2 boss, the final boss from both Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles, and a Biohazard.
If you're talking about ridiculously difficult, probably the biolizard or the death egg in Sonic and Knuckles. If you're talking about ridiculously stupid, then I'd have to agree on the genie.

Most ridiculously hard boss I've ever faced: Sonic Heroes - 2nd Team Fight while trying to A-rank it. It is matter of pure luck whether the battle will last 5 seconds (my time is now ~6 secs) or 5 minutes.
Ridiculously hard bosses (for me): Doomsday Zone (Sonic 3&K) 5th boss in Sonic Advance 2 (that wheel-thingie that can One-Hit-KO you). 6th boss in Sonic Advance 2 (that was even worse for me.)
Ridiculously easy bosses: An awful lot of bosses
Ridiculous appearances: Yes, the Babylon djinni probably qualifies for spot #1. I'd also like to mention Silver Sonic (Sonic 2 MS/GG), Knuckles (Sonic Adventure) [Oh, no!] and Team Rose (Sonic Heroes) here.
^lol. In Sonic Heroes, you can see the enemy's weak point by looking at where his HP bubble is located. Usually the shiny, flashy parts of a boss are his weakpoints. (this applies to many, many games)
For the team battles you just jump and press B a lot and you get an A. At least, that's how I did it. I must agree on that stupid wheel boss in SAd2. That hand was pure evil.

Especially with Team Dark when fighting Egg Emperor. Start flying, thundershoot him to death while at the same time filling up your gauge, when he tries to escape do a Chaos Blast and continue thundershooting him. Egg Emperor goes down in less than a minute.
Beh, he's close enough. Really, the worst boss in Sonic 3 is probably the, um, 3rd level. I can't remember the name. I think it's something with the word "marble" or "garden" in it, though it's not "marble garden" since that's Sonic 1. Anyhow, the whole idea of having to jump off Tails felt... silly.
LOL! It is "Marble Garden". :P "Marble Zone" is in Sonic 1. Anyway, I thought that was a pretty cool boss. It made good use of Tails, and it was fun. The whole concept was awesome.

I usually had all of the chaos emeralds by then, so I would go "super" and just let him run into me.
I usually don't collect Chaos Emeralds over again, since Super Sonic takes away from the fun when I use him too much. Still, I have a Hyper Sonic file, so all of my Super Emeralds are saved for when I want them.
That bloody Boss on Sonic Advance 2! The one in Techno-Base with the spinning Platforms and the firing energy ball things! It's completely random and he's completely shielded most of the time except for when the platform tilts and even then you have to dodge his firing bullets! Argh! However I've beaen it in about 10 seconds before, but that's not the point. When i first got the game I was stuck on it for almost half and hour!!
i think the Egg Breaker from "Shadow The Hedgehog" was pretty pathetic once i learned to beat him. i wasnt very good the first time, but after i got the hang of it i realized how pathetic it was. all you gotta do is get a gun from the egg robots around him and shoot him in the head from afar. and since he is constantly jumping and killing his own robots its fairly easy to get guns from all over the place!
