[QUOTE="Dark_Mits"][QUOTE="sonicphc"]If SSR comes out good, I think I'd rather have an SSR 2 than a SH 2Tails2000

I'm more on having Sonic Adventure 3...

A Sonic Adventure 3 would be great, but I doubt they're gonna make one.

Sonic06 was supposed to be a "Sonic Adventure 3". Especially since they had the "Chao in Space 3" poster in it. :D

That makes sense, there was a Chao in Space 2 poster in Sonic Adventure 2 and a Chao in Space poster in Sonic Adventure.

[QUOTE="TAMKFan"]Yes, definetly! Sonic Heroes is my favorite 3D Sonic game.DoctorEggman

That's cuz it was the best 3D Sonic game. Sonic Team actually did it right that time.

Totally Agree here, that's how I became Sonic fan. :D

Well, if they were to make a Sonic Heroes 2, I'd like them to make some improvements.

For example, like in every boss battle, each of your characters (speed, fly, and power) should have a role in the battle. Unlike in Metal Madness in which speed formation was useless.

I'd also like for there to be another team which could consist of any characters, maybe it could have Eggman in it together with two new characters or two robots that he built.

Also, I'd like each team to have different stages...one thing I didn't like about the original Sonic Heroes is that each team pretty much had the same stages except they vary in difficulty which kind of bored me after playing the second team.

They might also want to add a unique feature that comes with each character such as Rouge being able to do the Screw Kick or Big being able to do optional fishing in various fishing spots throughout each level, or maybe mach speed areas that can only be entered through using Sonic, or even Knuckles and Rouge being able to climb up walls like in the Sonic Adventure series.

I'm just hoping that they would make the rest of the Sonic games like the Sonic Adventure series. I miss the Chao Garden.

Yes, mimic the actual petting action with your wiimote! lol.

I loved chao, but with Sega's recent string of games and the general opinion of those games, I think they're going to focus more on making a good game than throwing in fan service like that.

Yeah, I thik so, too. I still play around in my SADX and SA2B Chao Gardens, race them, make 'em fight, take then to Kindergarden, or watch TV with them. But they should make Sonic Rush 2, give it a Tiny Chao Garden of its own, and then make it so the chao can go from the DS to the Wii, or vice-versa.

Exactly! Since they stopped putting the Chao Garden on the consoles they should at least put them on the handhelds. The Chao Garden in Sonic Advance 2 wasn't half bad.

I too would like a Chao Garden 3, but I would rather Sega started fixing the core problems.

As for the Chao Garden itself, it should be even deeper with more options, more items, more ways to raise your Chao, more events, more personalities, more races and having Chao interact with each other more frequently (I've seen, as all of you I assume, Chao listening to other Chao singing and either move their heads or start crying. It would be nice if they also started singing in duets, or, if they didn't like the song, start brawling!)

Or in other words, it should resemble a very basic and simple Sims game.

Well, they replaced one of the minigames (not the card-flipping one) with a Cream and Cheese game.
Cream pushes and pulls a spring back and forth to bounce Cheese around into the air were Cheese must collect rings.
The chao can now swim, and it can fly. There may be other changes, but I can't remember what.

I agree completely. (I like it when they all gather around the TV and clap when the show is over.)
But the chao-to-chao interaction is lacking for sure.
Also, the gardens of SA2 were too small. The ones of SA were fine, though.

I have a good idea, Chaos should have their own game. Like all you do is playable is Cream and you take care of Chaos World (Town or some kind) and you can do LOTS of stuff like.....Chao Bikes. ^_^

Hmm...that second statement gave me an idea...Maybe CHAOS should be given his own game! You know? Chaos? From Sonic Adventure/ DX?

LOL! That would be cool! But did you  guys know I was actually making a Chao game where you play as chao and do minigames as well as action stages? It even has a small town area which is a hub for all the areas and events.
But I ran out of stage ideas and dropped the project.

Sonic Heroes was fantastic. If you look beyond the Team Mechanics, it's really Sonic Adventure 3 in design and looks. The team mechanics were brillaint, and the game wasn't too easy, or too hard, and it wasn't too long either. Sure each team travelled through the same levels. But that's what happened on the old games when picking a character. Plus there were different missions, and the music ROCKED hard. I'd love to see a Sonic Heroes 2. Or possibly a game using the Sonic Heroes Engine with just one character in the stage, like the old games. Seaside Hill was incredible when you first played it. New Old skool at it's best. And the camera had it's occasional spasms, but it wasn't a problem, and this was the first 3D Sonic game I'd played (not including Sonic 3D Blast). I rate each New game based on the level this game set.

Any new game that falls below Sonic Heroes standard is a dissapointment to me. Such as Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Riders, and I haven't played STH yet, but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as this. SSR better match or excel this game, not in looks, but in the fun factor, a game where you don't cry over your death because you know that you made it happen, and the game itself didn't kill you. I still play Sonic Heroes. Over 300 hours in gameplay clocked. on Both PS2 and Gamecube.  :D

PS: The Gamecbe version is MUCH better.

I agree with you except I I think I enjoyed the team play more than you did. Still, you right about doing the same stages again with different characcters and the music does ROCK HARD! I feel that this game did bring Sonic closer to his roots than ever before, but that's my opinion.

Maybe, but the PS2 menu is screwed up bigtime. The jump button is the back button instead of the select button, so even the menu controls take some getting used to. Plus, the framerate sucks.

I've never played the PS2 version, but you know it sucks when you're showing you're friend how to get a certain Chaos Emerald on your GC version and you finish the level to get to it, you're friend who plays the PS2 version says "Wow! It only took 2 seconds for the results to tally and the level clear music to play! It takes at least 5 times as long on mine!"

Yeah, I kinda remember that. The team would say their victory phrase then just stand there doing their pose for 10 seconds...THEN the music plays :(

It takes at least 5 times as long on mine!" :lol:sonicphc

Oh yeah!! That's true! It takes roughly 5 seconds for the PS2 to tally up the score. Whereas GC takes 2.

My friend and I compared the 2 version screen-by-screen and found the GameCube to be the better one.
The PS2 even takes a little longer to load.

And he'd say stuff like, "Wait, you can go that fast in a special stage without your character flying off the edge randomly into the middle and killing your momentum! Wow. The PS2 version sux..."sonicphc

I remember the special stage too! I tried it once and throughout the entire stage, my characters jerked off to the side :( Hopefully the PS3 will be better in 3D Sonic games.

[QUOTE="TQ_NintyNoE"]Sonic Heroes was fantastic.

Nope I LOVED the Team mechanics. if it was because I said "If you look beyond...", that was for the people who moan about the mechanics, it's the same as switiching actions like A2B, but people fail to see that!... lol

Yeah, you're right. It worked out beautifully.
I don't like it when people make switching characters sound like a big hassle.

It would seem the masses oppose me on this one. O well. If they cut the Chaotix and Rose teams and gave Team Sonic and Team Dark entirely different sets of levels except maybe the same one or two where they meet, then I'd go for it.

I Agree! :D Team Rose is boring and Team Chaotix is cool, but it would be boring on next game.

I wouldn't care if they were in a Sonic Heroes 2 either way. Those teams don't bother me at all.
