You never saw it? :shock: Okay, I'll set this straight. :) In Sonic X, everyone was sad about Cosmo "dying" via her sacrifice to save everyone, and no one said anything about a "mask". Or even talked about Rouge. ALL of the attention was on trying to destroy the Metarex's planet-sized sphere before it exploded like a bomb. The white part is her bat fur. Just like how tails has his orange (or yellow) fox fur. That's it. Simple.
Oh wait, I re-checked Wikipedia, it wasn't when they were going to say *spoilers* Cosmo was going to die. It was when she was throwing "strange sights" at Knuckles, whatever that means. that means that she IS flirting with knuckles!
