Some are pretty funny, some are true and annoying and overall pretty nice for anyone who doesn't like the Pats. And if you do, well you might get a laugh out of this. Just don't look at 14, 12-9, 7, 5-4, 2-1. Especially 2, 7, 9 and 14.

BTW I only saw one of Vince Wilfork's cheap shots. The one against the G-men. It turns out he's been fined 3 times this year for cheap shots. The guy is an a-hole. Next one really should get him suspended. Someone can't just keep doing this.

Thankfully another reason to hate BB, No.2. WTF?

This one is so funny I'll put it here:

5: Rodney Harrison – Dirty Player, HGH User Patriots Safety Rodney Harrison has long been recognized by fellow players as one of the dirtiest players in the league. This season he was also honored by the NFL with a 4 game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy after he admitted taking Human Growth Hormone. (He also proved his intelligence by ordering the HGH online in his own name)

And this one:

4: We Are Allowed to Score Whenever We Want – You Are Not

The same New England Patriots who go for it on 4th down when they are up by 38 points in the 4th quarter and say "it is the other teams job to stop us" didn't always sing that tune. In 2002 when the Patriots beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Steelers did their best to score in the final seconds of a 30-7 game that they were losing. After the game, Tedy Bruschi said:

"I did have some respect for that team, but after what they pulled on that last drive, it's totally lost now" Bruschi said. "You're getting beat….just accept it with cIass. I know we would have if the tables were turned. But they're out there calling timeouts, trying to get extra yards, padding their stats"

That one is just plain wrong

Teams have ALWAYS done that with the Pats, they try to score late to make it look like the Pats didn't beat them down as badly. That's totally bush league.

If someone wants to stop the Pats they're more then welcome, sadly for everyone not beginning with "New England" they're like children playing with a rouge elephant.

The Pats do pull their players in games. If other teams had the guts to do the same now that would be something. Up to this point no one has had the guts. It's always the 5th best running back going up against the starting linebackers on the other team in the last 5 mins of the game when the Pats are up by 4 scores.

I'm pretty sure most people in Buffalo would thank Wilfork for that cheap shot on JP... Overall, that is a pretty funny article.

13: Which is Worse, the Yankees Hat or the Purse?

Who cares what team he supports or if he carrys a man purse. The man can kick 99% of your arses, he's allowed to carry one.

12: Vince Wilfork Cheap Shot #1

If you watch the video he was pushed down towards the QB and was trying to hit the QB at the time so his momentum carried him to the QB. I don't know about you but I didn't know it was physically possible to stop falling towards the earth. And if you try to use the elbow out excuse thats just a natural reaction to try to break a fall.

10: Vince Wilfork Cheap Shot #3

Again, not as bad as people make it seem. He didn't poke his eye liek people tried to say, he merely pointed at his face. Stupid thing to do... but a cheap shot? No.

8: "FedEx From Mr. Belichick"

Who cares? Honestly? Your going to use that to hate him? Oh no he has a misteess.

7: Randy Moss – Lots of Touchdowns, Bad Guy

Who cares. It's his past and as long as it stays in his past I'm ok with it.

6: Tom Brady's Kid has Playdates with Matt Leinert's Kid

So peoples personal life is what we are using to hate people now? Ignore the football stuff, the mans dating a model! GRAB YOUR PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES!

5: Rodney Harrison – Dirty Player, HGH User

HGH..... so now we shall lynch 50% or so of all Athletes......

3: More Hannah Montana than Joe Montana

More gay references? How many of these try to say Tom's gay?

2: Who Cares About the Concussions, Get on the Field

This is one mans word against a another. Proves it. But anywyas, It's football. Cry more.

1: The Patriots Cheated

Yah it's over. Take away everything rpior to this year if you want. We still will probably win 2-3 more before this is over.

It's really not a joke. That list is probably 100% true to who wrote it. I'm defending my team. I would only expect others to do the same for their teams. The onyl difference is when I defend mine people complain. What since my team is undefeated they don't need to be defended?

Well everytime someone makes a good or stupid comment against the Patriots, you jump in(its your right) to defend them. Best defense against that is say nothing and let their accomplishments speak for themselves.

Btw, that hannah montona one, I thought was because brady has such a good disney type image.

People know when they post a negitive comment about a team there will be people who will come in to defend it. This is a forum. People post things to disscuss them. If you don't expect replies from supporters don't post in a public forum, start a anti pats union and post away.

I really don't think yankees hat or the purse is a serious one. Neither is half of the rest.

BTW are you really defending no.2. It's not his word. The doctors advised him not to go on the field. BB put him in anyway. He had another concussion and had to be hospitalized. But let's call it crying on his part b/c BB is the Pats coach. Are you serious? You really think that wasn't wrong?

My teams are my heart and soul. I take care of my son all week long and watching sports is my only escape. I breath Boston. I have been following my teams since I was 12 years old. 13 years ago in 1995 was when I first started to understand the sports. Finally all of my teams are going good (and at the same time). But now theya re doing to good and everyone calls me a bandwagoner and all that garbage. I will defend my teams even if it's a futile argument.

Two players, one phifer and another still on the roster, so he's annonymous (sp) corroborrated the story. He was ruled out by the doctors for the game he had the concussion. 4 days later, he went to practice and was supposed to play with a red jersey (no contact) b/c of it. BB had him play with a full contact blue jersey. After a few mild hits, he suffered another concussion and Walden, some Patriots coach, sent him to the hospital on the spot.

EDIT: Defend your team. But there's a difference between that and refusing to admit they can never do anything wrong. Just b/c Moss is on the Pats doesn't make him a good person all of a sudden. Just b/c BB is the Pats head coach doesn't mean everything he does is justified.

I'm just saying I don't just beleive everything I hear. unlike pat's haters who latch onto any rumor or made up story they hear. I like Facts. It's probably true but it's football. Doesn't make it right though. The guy could have refused to play. He made a choice to go against the medical decision.

He had pride, but yea he could've refused, so it's his fault too. But it's just as much BB's fault as well.

BTW he was a good player for your team for awhile. Pretty sad what's happened to him now 30 concussions will do that.

I didnt check the stats but I'm pretty sure he didnt get all 30 of them with the patriots. It is sad. Very sad. But if your at concussion 29 it might be time to say "Gee my health is at risk here maybe ill take the millions i've made and retire". Sadly l;ike you said pride keeps them playing untill it's to late. thats why I support the NFL in putting in strict rules regarding concussions.

13: Which is Worse, the Yankees Hat or the Purse?

The Yankees hat. No contest.

But seriously, I think by this time most Pats fans are immune to the constant bashing. What exactly do you think you'll accomplish? We'll continue to love them, and you'll continue to hate them. Rinse, lather, repeat.

We get it, the Pats are a dynasty, 16 - 0, they are incredible, one of the best teams ever. I am truly sorry your *insert team of choice* isn't graced with the same amount of talent or success. If hating the Patriots is so much fun by all means keep doing it, whatever makes you happy is A-OK in my book.

Born and raised in NE, I've been a Pats fan my entire life.... the Grogan years, ugh. Same with the Sox, you know you're a true fan when you remain so dedicated to teams that haven't won (or never won) inseveral decades. Then the 21st century comes, and our dedication and loyalty is finally being rewarded. This is a dream come true for fans like me, and the constant hate from bitter fans is worn like a badge of honor by us, because we know it's a knee jerk reaction to the Pats monumental success(es.) We spent manydecades doing it to the Yankees, we know all about it..... and I've got the well-worn and tattered "Yankees Suck" t shirts in my closet to prove it.

So, continue on. I'll continue to read what everyone says from the sidelines and laugh.

Tilt your seat back and look at it from an unbiased perspective. Opposing fans put so, so much effort into slamming Patriots fans and the team itself, all the while Pats fans laugh it off with a "whatever, the record speaks for itself." And that's "arrogance?" What group of fans comes off as bad in this scenario? Hahaha.

BTW. The record speaks for itself.

Sorry.

Sorry.

I'm just saying I don't just beleive everything I hear. unlike pat's haters who latch onto any rumor or made up story they hear. I like Facts. It's probably true but it's football. Doesn't make it right though. The guy could have refused to play. He made a choice to go against the medical decision.

Just_Osmo

Actually the very next season, he did try to retire. BB refused to release him and forced him to show up to camp.

I don't really know how it works, but this is what I read:

Johnson arrived home and told his wife, Jackie, he was retiring. Belichick called and Johnson asked for his release. The coach refused.

After conferring with his agent and the Players Association, it soon became apparent to Johnson he had no recourse. The team sent him a certified letter stating if he did not return in five days, his contract would be voided. He reluctantly reported back to work, but his relationship with Belichick remained strained.

But they're out there calling timeouts, trying to get extra yards, padding their stats"

manningbowl135

I don't think that's true. If you hire a Contractor to build a home and he only builds half of it then disapears you still have to pay him for the work that was done.

Well I wasdefending all of the ones I disagreed with. Some of them were undeniably true. (only a few)

We have been hearing this way too often from Pats "fans" lately. Do you seriously feel the need to explain yourself? When the Lakers won 3 championships in a row I didn't feel the need to apologize to anyone for being a Laker fan. Why do you guys?

Yes, because so many fans dedicate so much time and effort to paint Pats fans as "bandwagon" and / or non-localfans, whereas in truth bandwagon fans and those outside of NEmake up the minority of our fanbase.

In fact, I've seen you do it.

Yah it's over. Take away everything rpior to this year if you want. We still will probably win 2-3 more before this is over.

Osmo, I'm pretty sure you're not aware of this, but it's not your job to personally defend the Pats every time somebody says something. It's like you're trying to defend your girlfriend's honor or something. With all the Patriot bashing going on in here, where do you find the time to sleep?

I don't sleep. Between my Son, my Girlfriend, and defending the Boston area I have no time for myself!!!!

But anyways. I have to defend them because everyone keeps bashing onthem. Stop the Pat's bashing and I'll stop the Pat's defending.

[QUOTE="Just_Osmo"]I don't think that's true. If you hire a Contractor to build a home and he only builds half of it then disapears you still have to pay him for the work that was done. murlow12
That's actually completely inaccurate. I wasn't aware that you're a lawyer.

Um, yes you still have to pay for services rendered. Unless there is something in the contract thats ays otherwise. I am an electrician and if we are contracted to wire a house in a given timeperiod and we don't complete the job in the alloted time the contractor can void the contract and hire another Electrician to finish the job but we are still paid for the services rendered.

[QUOTE="murlow12"][QUOTE="KingOfKonging"] Born and raised in NE, I've been a Pats fan my entire life....

KingOfKonging

We have been hearing this way too often from Pats "fans" lately. Do you seriously feel the need to explain yourself? When the Lakers won 3 championships in a row I didn't feel the need to apologize to anyone for being a Laker fan. Why do you guys?

Yes, because so many fans dedicate so much time and effort to paint Pats fans as "bandwagon" and / or non-localfans, whereas in truth bandwagon fans and those outside of NEmake up the minority of our fanbase.

In fact, I've seen you do it.

So true. They complain because we defend our team from their bashes. Don't bash on teams and you won't have fans defending themselves and/or the team.

How would you know what makes the majority of the fanbase?

Read this:

In 1992 the Patriots had just 19,000 season ticket holders – an unbelievably low number by any standard – especially for one of the top markets in the NFL. Just 12 years later the team had tens of thousands of people on the waiting list for season tickets – a jump in demand of over 70,000 people. Amazing how a Super Bowl and a shiny new stadium creates football fans.

They were the NE Patriots in NE in 1992 and they had an incredible low # of fans. Suddenly they're good and they're one of the most popular teams in the NFL. Of course fan base should increase when more people start getting into football, but it's obvious most of those new fans were bandwagoners.

So let's say you charge $100 for a job, finish $60 worth and time runs out. The owner has to pay you $60 right?

Now you hire an electrician to do the rest. He has to finish $40 worth of job, but he charges $50 for it. Do you pay the $10 difference out of your pockets?

Believe it or not, most peop[e watch the Pats at home.

I haven't been to a Pats game in 15 years. What's your point?

Unlike baseball, I greatly prefer to watch football in the comfort of my own home.... especially since I got that nice HDTV.

BTW, guy, EVERY Pats home game has SOLD OUT SINCE 1996, years and years before the first SB win.

I'd say that says a lot more than your little season ticket stat, because you're stat is worthless when every seat sells regardless.

Bandwagon what?

1996 huh? That was the year Kraft bought the team and promised the city a SB and a new facility. Suddenly the tickets are sold out for the FIRST time in the 34 year franchise history. But no those guys were not bandwagon fans. No game is sold out for the 1995 season, but when the new owner promises a super bowl, it's sold out. But that's not bandwagon at all.
