How can you not be sure?

Iverson has been a problem on every single team he's played for and has never even sniffed a championship while Wade carried the Heat to a championship.

Is this really that hard?

Allen Iverson= Trouble Maker/Bad Attitude player

D-Wade= Team Player/Team Leader

It has nothing to do with Wade's age Allen Iverson will never get a championship.

In their prime: I say Iverson. Also, is harder to win a Championship against Shaq than with him.

I said it during the Olympics that Wade would be the best player in the NBA this year and right now he is.

I love AI but the fact is D-Wade is younger, bigger, and frankly better right now. So the choice is clear. However, regarding Wade's ring; Shaq says Your Welcome for being on his team during the last season of his prime. Also Iverson has sucked it up and played with twice the bumps and bruises that would have put Wade out. D-Wade is an excellent player but only Vlade Divac was a bigger flopper when facing even minimal contact.

Although this is damn true. Haven't seen a guy get more calls in a playoff series than Wade during that NBA finals against the Mavs since Jordan was playing. I was sitting on my couch watching the game. I think I farted twice and snuck a grope in on the wife once and ended up with three fouls called on me.

Wade, by a mile. I used to consider him the most overrated player in the league, but he's really changed my mind with his play this year. Iverson was always talented, but never a team player.

I agree with Jason. You should have seen Shaq during his glory years in LA. The guy was a force of nature. Personally, I'll always wonder how good he could have been if he had a better work ethic during the offseason and less distractions. (Rapping, movie making, etc.)

That's a good question there. I'm a big Laker fan, and thus, a big Laker fan. Right now, a this point in the season, I'm not sure I'd list anyone over Lebron as the league's best player. He's been that good so far. If we're going to turn this thread into a "best player" argument instead of a "Wade vs. Iverson" argument, then if you put a gun to my head I'd probably spit out the following order right now. 1. Lebron 1A. Kobe 3. Wade

4. CP3 (Only because his team is seriously struggling. Can't be the best player if you can't lift your team) 5. Dwight Howard

I'm sort of surprised yet not surprised that D Wade is leading the polls. I voted for D Wade also. Also like some said, it doesn't matter if AI is older. Even if they were the same age, I'd still take D Wade on my team. He's just a better team player, a better example to others, works harder, and just as talented. Also, I think D Wade has humility, which is a BIG plus.

Kobe Bryant hands down is the best player in the NBA!

LeBron has no Jumper, and had not beat a great team all year.

Ohh Yeah and Tony Parker is better then Chris Paul. Stats dont lie, and Parker is the best offensive PG in the league.

D-Wade is playing the best in the NBA right now, but being the best player in the NBA for 30 games does not make you the best player in the NBA.

there areso many things wrong with this sentence.....man, where are people getting this crazy idea that tony parker is even CLOSE to stepping up to chris paul, are they watching a different sport than i am? Stats don't lie... Tony parker is averaging ONE MORE POINT than paul while paul is average nearly DOUBLE the rebounds and assists compared to parker. You can't even include parker in the top 5 point guards in the league while paul is the clear cut #1 for the next couple of years

LMAO TONY PARKER NOT TOP 5!! HAHAHA!! THey just said he was the best PG in the league on SC.

Parker is avg 21 points and 6.5 ast..

Ohh Yeah and Parkers team wins when he is in the lineup. Pauls team is struggling.

Paul is averaging 20 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds (yes, twice as many assists and rebounds). Parker is also playing on a better, more experienced team, and he's certainly not carrying the team.

......haha this guy can't be serious. w/e i'll humour him for a bit. First of all, whoever said that parker was the best pg in the league is going to be out of a job soon and anyone who believes in it should be smacked. Secondly paul is doing better in EVERY single stat category than parker. Assists, steals, assist to turnover, field goal, free throw, rebounding you name it while parker is averaging, again just ONE MORE POINT than paul. And third, the hornets have gone from nothing to a playoff contender ever since paul came while the spurs have always been a contender since the duncan era. Regardless, the hornets are third in the west above the spurs and behind LA and denver. Not to mention that paul embarrassed and made parker his son during his first playoffs appearance. Parker's not a true pg and doesn't make his teammates better like paul, williams, nash, kidd can. He's just a scoring PG and he's not even the best at that, harris and arenas are both ahead of him. So please tell me, what is the reasoning for parker being better than the likes of players such as paul, williams, baron, harris, billups, rose, arenas, nash etc. But what i REALLY want to know, is what part of tony parker's game, in any way, is better than paul's??

great argument...and no, he's not better offensively because parker can't control and run an offense like paul can. If you mean he's better at scoring, ok i can give him that but again, he's averaging just one, single more point than paul. So he's still in no way, shape or form, close to being as good as paul

Iverson. Without a doubt. I still consider him, to this day, the best player in history, pound for pound, inch for inch.

They both play their hearts out, although Iverson played so many games with multiple injuries. You can't love basketball much more than AI does, even though he's been known for his questionable attitude. Reminds me of myself...

well Iverson has accomplished more overall in his career but will never win, Wade won once and he had shaq who was better then anyone Iverson ever had on his team. If wade wins a few more i will give him the nod but right now it's close

[QUOTE="nocoolnamejim"][QUOTE="UssjTrunks"] Even Kobe and Paul?halowpb

Dwight Howard

you really sound like a homer pal, wade is playing the best ball in the nba at the moment

Not really, he just has more opportunity to score because he's on a weaker team.
