Obviously Wade based on age. But overall I would give the nod to Iverson. One of the most entertaining and best scorers ever. Funny, if this thread was made 3 years ago and put up Iverson against almost anyone, the majority would have picked Iverson. It's amazing how everyone used to be on his nuts not too many years ago and now people are pretending the guy hasn't had a great career. It was amazing watching him single handily carry the Sixers to the NBA Finals.
I know people bring up the whole practice thing, but I truly feel he is one of the more dedicated players in the game. Few players would have played through and succeeded with the number of injuries he has had. When he is on the court, he is simply one of the best. His defense is underrated too.

he didn't exactly carry his team single handedly. A lot of people forget that the sixers had a pretty damn good team back then, it obviously got overshadowed by shaq and kobe but they still had guys like ratliff, mutumbo, snow, mckie, hill, kukoc and a bunch of other role players all in their primes too. Even the lakers, aside from shaq and kobe, had role players pretty much on the same talent level as the sixers.
but ya, iverson is probably pound for pound the most talented offensive player ever. A lot of people are bashing him now because of the whole billups-iverson trade which is why he's not getting any respect, but there is some reasoning behind that. Iverson throughout his entire career has taken a LOT of stupid shots and makes a lot of bad decisions, which is why his coaches always got on his back. And he hasn't exactly had too much success even when he was in his prime, which was actually during his last couple of years with the 04-06 ish sixers and not with the early 2000 playoff sixers
But when all's said and done, iverson is a hall of famer and one could only imagine if he had wade's size and athleticism. he'd probably go off for 40 a night
