Anyone else not like madden?

Maybe its because I played 07 on PS2 and got this one for my 360. I've been waiting for this game, and I guess since the controls are horrible for the 360 i'm sitting here disappointed.

Anyone else feel the same way or am I the only one?

I love football, but i don't really enjoy the game so much, unless im playing with a group of friends.

I would assume how they mapped the buttons is what everyone means by controls. Because the execution of all the moves are sharp in my opinion. For offline play! I don't like how they mapped the stiff arms to just one button. Pacomontoya, is there a classic setting for the controls?

I'm satisfied with both MADDEN and NCAA 08. Yes, of course there were a few things I didn't like that they either had or were missing. But overall, I like them both. I've heard quite a few people talk about the controls, but I was able to change all of mine in the settings. I don't if that's exactly what people are referring to when they say "controls". pacomontoya

I don't believe that there is one in the game that litteraly is labled "classic", but I try to go off of what I'm used to from previous versions and just input those in my settings. Like I've always remembered juke as being "R1 or L1" and speed is "X" or even "O". It's hard to get used to a completely new control setting, so I try my best to keep the one that I know best.
