I'm rooting for Tebow. I want to see him succeed in the NFL. He's a character guy, humble, and a born leader. He's also already highly respected by his team, and they all seem like they want him to be successful with them.

Anyway, are you rooting for him?

yea loved watching him in college.he plays with alot of heart

first QB i seen running fools over and going head up with anybody and he could throw for 300 yards and 3 TD's if you asked him too

it seems like people that dont like him dont for stupid reasons like he's a goody 2 shoes or something or cried(you know how many other college athletes havecried?)nothing really negative to say about him but haters gon hate

No. I don't hate the guy, but I certainly don't like him either. I read somewhere that he scored extremely low the IQ test the players take before they're drafted and now that I think about it, all of his interviews sound like he's reading off a cue card or something. I find it annoying.

Of course not, I'm a Bolts fan. :)

Not rooting against him though, would be fun to have some kind of qb rivalry in the west..

I want him to do good. The problem I think is the media. They have hyped him so much that if he doesnt win 10 superbowls, he fails.

As a Broncos fan, yes, because I want him to help the team. However, I don't think he'll do good in the NFL.

thats his college career and for good reason his credentials have solidified him as 1 of the best of all time

but NFL wise everybody has their doubts on if his work ethic will be enough i know he wants to be great and wont let the distractions most other players do let get in the way, so i think he has a decent shot champ bailey says he's the first guy there last to leave throwing the ball with water boys when everybodys leaving

Tim Tebow is awesome. He's a great guy, those who root against him are either from a rival college area, or just plain evil!

Granted. But if you removes the sports team affiliation from the equation, there's no reason to root against him as a person.

I don't really see anyone rooting against him otherwise. I've seen people criticize his throwing motion and inability to read defenses among other things, but as far as people WISHING he does poorly, never run across that.

I'm not rooting for him either way, frankly i'm indifferent :) Hopefully he'll become a good NFL QB, only for the reason the league needs more good QBs. I personally don't think he'll succeed tho.

uhh yeah i did. nobody said they're rooting against him at all. one guy said he can't wait to see him cry again, but you don't know the context of that. he might have been a fan of a rival college team or an NFL team. you can't generalize and say there's are a group of people who are rooting for him to fail just because one guy on an internet forum said something.

@Fuhgeddabouditt It's not just media hype. The Broncos have built in the hype by drafting him in the first round when not many really expected him to go that high. By drafting him that high, they are sending a message that they are going to be investing a lot on him. Stands to reason that he will eventually have considerable playing time, if not a starting position. Otherwise, why draft him so high? I'm sure there were other positions that could have been addressed. I know you're exaggerating with the 10 Super Bowls, but there is sure to be pressure in the future on both him and the Broncos, for him to at least play and contribute. @johnnyblazed88 It's not his work ethic that is put into question, it's his skill set. I think he's shown that he is willing to do whatever the team asks of him and more. And he's trying to eventually fill in as a leader on the team. Hard for him considering he was already a leader at Florida but loyalty from his NFL teammates may not be there initially if he's not on the field. He's not a pocket QB. His mechanics were not sound. And his style of play at Florida will not allow him to last very long in the NFL. He's not going to be bigger and faster than most defensive players like he was in college. I've got nothing against the guy. I root for him to succeed. We'll just have to wait and see if he can make the transition to being a successful NFL QB.

Im a Broncos fan of 20+ years....

I want to see him do well because I am a Broncos fan.. but in all reality I think he will be an average NFL backup. He was awesome in college, but he just doesnt have what it takes imo to be a starting QB in the NFL and do really well.

I hope he proves me wrong and what not, but I just dont see him doign as good as alot of people are expecting him to do.

He did play well last night though and definatly moved up the depth chart ahead of horrible Quinn. But Orton is still the starter in Denver.

I couldn't belive that we drafted him to be honest, but its a risk they took. I did like our 1st draft pick though.

People hate him because they wanna be him.

Wouldnt you love to actually care about the well being of those less fortunate? Wouldnt you love to actually WANT to be a virgin until marriage? Dont you wish you had a quarter of the success he had in college?

He seems like a genuine, nice guy but now the world isntmade for nice guys anymore, its catered to scum and thats why he is hated so much.

I hope he does well, he wont but i think a good careers ahead for him.
