Statistically, you're wrong. In terms of winning big games, you're right. But even you gotta admit that Brees with the Steelers lineup would have one a SuperBowl.

Yea, i was about to yell until i saw that last line of yours lol. Anyways Big Ben makes alot of mistakes and cleans up in the 2nd half, Brees puts up big and huge numbers. Imagine Brees as the PIT QB, the PIT defense would have what i call the 2007 Patriots D Syndrome. PIT Defense would be the best ever when Brees throws for 2 TD in first quarter and the PIT defense knows the opponent is throwing the ball.

If Brees had that Defense and not the crap Saints defense of the last couple years then they would rarely lose. The Pitt defense keeps them in the game so that Roethlisberger can win it in the 4th quarter. Brres has to keep scoring throughout in order to have a chance at winning

Brees is a better QB in every single way. Though Big Ben is really good at making poor decisions.

Roethlisburger is only good and escaping sacks. Brees does everything else better. To even put Roethlisburger in the discussion is a crime.

..What? What does that have to do with anything? He's big and strong, thats why he breaks sacks.

Brees is a better oveall QB, but some of the passes Ben throws in traffic/under pressure are just amazing.

OMG HOW MANY TIMES WILL IT HAVE TO BE SAID, Superbowl wins =/= player stat, SuperBowl wins = team stat. There's 12 starters on offense and 12 on defense BTW. Just to let you know.

as much as I love Brees i'll take the QB who is more clutch in the playoffs and that is Big Ben. He knows how to manage the game well, rarely makes poor passes, has an amazing ability to dodge sacks and did I mention he was clutch in big games?

If you mean clutch by ''someone that plays below average football for the 3 first quarters and finally gets going in the 4th'' then yes he is ''clutch''.

Hmm, you must be watching a different Big Ben then I do every week. Of course, he has some games where he does awful, but which QB doesnt?

As much as I HATE to admit that I have to agree. Looking at all numbers aside from wins and losses Brees could roast Roethlisberer over a fire, however it's all about winning and Big Ben's tremendously successful with that, especially with late game come backs. Brees has nothing to show for his career record being barely over .500 which is truly sad because he has TREMENDOUS talent. I personally like Brees a lot though, he's my favorite player outside of any Eagle.

All I know is one thing: You offer me anybody, not just Brees but ANYBODY, in the league for a straight up trade for Ben and I will turn you down. Same goes for Harrison, Hines, and Polamalu. What is every QB's goal? To win the Lombardi trophy. (or it should be) One of these guys has proved he can do it. I'll take him.

Give Brees a #1 defense, and I guarantee you he'd win a few Super Bowls too.

I would take ben over brees anyday. Sure Brees has a better arm, but he cant manage a game or scramble like ben can. Ben can run over safetys at the goal line not many QBs are willing or able to do that.

Yeah, I mean you can throw for 34 TD and over 5,000 yards a season with a 65% completion rate, but that doesn't make for solid game management. I wanna see a QB run over a LB!

If you don't know who Joe Montana is you aren't a real football fan. That being said, it's difficult to judge because the game is quite different now and I have watched Big Ben every game of his career where Montana played years before I was born. Oh, and I don't play Madden, nor will I likely ever play it.

Dance around the question, that's cool. You could be a politician. In my attempt to get a decent answer from you, I'll go a few years forward with John Elway.

I am not going to compare two QBs, one of which I am quite familiar with and the other who I have never watched play a quarter in my life, no. I could go by the numbers, but like I said the game is constantly changing so even that isn't all that accurate.

If somebody offered to trade me Joe Montana for Big Ben I would turn them down, so yeah it holds true. If you offered me "Joe Montana in his prime", I would question why you are using such technology to ask me such a dumb question.

Anyone means anyone. By saying you wouldn't take anyone for him, you are essentially saying Roethlisburger is the greatest QB in NFL history. Forget Montana, Elway, Unitas, Fouts, Marino, Young.

Who knows? In their prime, can they match up with the speed the defenses these days now are?

Besides, your question is really stupid.

"ohh man Adrian Peterson is an amazing RB"

"sooooooo ure basically saying he's better and you'd rather have him than Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Emmit Smith, Barry sanders, and Terell Davis right?"

What the hell is he supposed to say?

what he said was "anyone in the league" and those people arent in the league anymore. also you asking him about players he's never seen is irrelevant.

I'll take him.blackngold29

thats like choosing ringo as your drummer because he was with the beatles. see why it doesn't make any sense?

that might be the best comparison the world has ever known. ringo sucks but he was in the best band of all time.

This is why I hate rating QB's based on SB. SB is a team achievement. A QB with the offensive prowess of a Brees doesn't have the D to give him a SB... that's a knock on Brees. Roethlisberger runs an efficient offense built on the Running game. He does win games in the 4th but if Brees had a No. 1 D... he wouldn't need to win in the 4th. He would've already scored more points than the Steelers allowed by half time.

[QUOTE="blackngold29"]There's one thing that counts: Super Bowls. It's really quite obvious who is better.Darth_Revan_666

OMG HOW MANY TIMES WILL IT HAVE TO BE SAID, Superbowl wins =/= player stat, SuperBowl wins = team stat. There's 12 starters on offense and 12 on defense BTW. Just to let you know.

Yo it's 11
