[QUOTE="xbox360isgr8t"]i thought it was odd. thats not really classless by the fans they just truly support their team. go hawks baby.fastrbooing certainly is. I'm glad the hawks won, Pronger is such a prick I woulda been annoyed if they had won. no its typical of any home team that sees the away team clinch. the fans are still there which is the true sign of respect.
Philidelphia fans being classless? My goodness, that never happens!monkeytoes61HAHAHA you just made my day!!! But yeah I'm not the biggest hockey fan but that was a fun series. And I'm glad Chicago won, also Byfuglien is from my state so that makes it even better. Patrick Kane is the real deal!!!
The Philly fans are classless, but you can't really blame them for that one. They just had their hearts taken out by an overtime goal that didn't look like a goal at first. That must suck.
But for those of us who were Hawks fans, that was pretty much the coolest way to win it. :D It would've been nice if it was at home, but I'd much rather have them win it in game 6 in Philly than stress over a game 7 at home.
Patrick Kane will forever be a legend in Chicago now, if he wasn't going to be already.
I think my favorite moment was after game 4, arguingon Facebook with a Philly fan who kept calling me a bandwaggoner, until I gave him full details of the 92 finals and how I was dejected because Keenan gave up after game 2. Tonight was a special night, we got an almost 50 year monkey off of our backs.
BTW, am I the only one ticked off at Dan Patricks grilling of Jeremy Roenick after the game? Patrick, a hack with a journalism degree that has never played in any sport berating a Hawk legend.

I disagree, no buzzer, no cheers, or rather silence, from the crowd, and no instant gratification in knwoing your team just won. Still, I'll take the cup any way we can get it.
I'm pretty sure they were booing Gary Bettmen. But it was a really good game, got to see some scoring, great saves, and a little bit of overtime. It was a bit anti-climatic when Kane scored, kind of disappointing. I was hoping to see a game 7. hockey73
They booed Bettman and they booed Byfuglien when it was his turn with the cup.
I liked that Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup I'm not a fan of the Flyers that is because they are my favorite teams rivals. The Blackhawks are my 3rd favorite team in the NHL.
I was in the crazy crowd on Clark Street in Wrigleyville last night. It was awesome. That crowd didn't leave the street until well past Midnight when the cops tried to break it up. No bad incidents though. They were a civil crowd.DJ_Magnetotake that montreal!
Oh and Philly fans are the most classless fans out there. When Pitt won last year a lot of detroit fans stayed and actually applauded the other team for a good job. Philly fans staying just to boo is really sad. Not like booing is going to give you the stanley cup. Killfox
Well, I saw a few Philly fans clapping and some cheering; I think the bboing was for Bettman more than anything.
Man seeing Jeremy Roenick cry made me choke up a bit.

Then having Dan Patrick beret him over it made me want to choke Dan....

I know, what was that about?Maybe Dan is just jealous because Jeremy actually played the game and knows what's it like coming up short? All I saw was an idiot with a journalism degree and no experience playing an actual sport talking down to a man who had a promising NHL career, but just couldn't win the big prize. Total no class...

JR always played with a lot of fire and passion. Granted I was surprised he got choked up but I don't think Roenick was trying to get extra attention or anything
