I don't understand why athletes, or rich celebrities in general don't just hire a limo service for when they go out to party and know they're going to drink. I kind of gave benson the benefit of doubt the first time, but this time, he just made himself look like a fool.
I am not condoning drinking and driving, but lots of people do it especially in Austin. It's a liberal college party town. I myself ride the bus in Austin when I go out, but I'm also not famous. On a side note, it's not easy bringing girls home when you ride the bus though it still works. I have found myself drinking and driving though. I'm not proud of it, but it does not make me dumb or stupid. Sometimes you just make bad decisions.

Some would call them dumb and stupid decisions. You may not be stupid or dumb, but when you're drinking and driving, you're being dumb.

I've wondered this all the time, i'm sure people who go to clubs are drinking and once they decide to go home with someone they're not going to call a Taxi, makes you wonder just how many people drink and drive and the cops don't have a big crackdown :?

In Austin, there are plenty of people driving around in nice cars at 3 in the morning. There are a lot of people that drink and drive. They just don't get caught. I have been to numerous parties at West Campus, and seen many drunk people leave driving a car. What can you do?
