Heard it on PTI, RIP. He was known for making the famous Larry Bird inbounds that won a playoff game against the Pistons. He was also a 5 time all star as a player.
Really sad, he died tragically young. Heart attack during a pick up game, crazy. DJ was an awesome guard, he was such a defensive force out there. Smart decision maker, extremely hard worker, eventually became a great offensive star as well. He gets underrated because he played with legends, but DJ made those Celtics teams go and was instrumental in winning multiple championships. A true gentleman and an NBA great.
