I thought it was understood that he would pretend to retire until the end of training camp. Mr. Farve is way too important for 2-a-days in the middle of August.

If this turns out to be true and I were one of his teamates I would punch him in the face. He's going to miss basically the entire preseason, meaning while everyone else on the team is doing the dirty work he's playing his little, "will he, won't he?" game. It'd be one thing if he actually didn't know, but everyone knows this is just his little yearly publicity stunt. Man, this is getting old.

Wow...and here I was thinking he might actually be done with the attention seeking. I wonder what he's going to do in a few years when there's no chance of him playing anymore...how will he keep himself in the spotlight then?JML897

You can't blame Favre on this one. This is entirely media. Favre's not the one going out and leaking things like this. Besides, does anyone think that he'll come back in the middle of a season and just take over? He won't be in any shape, unless he keeps working out with some NFL people, and if that's the case, then there's credability to this story, until then, it's just that---a story.

if Favre does end up playing this year I can officialy say that I am sick of this guy.
