Fans of The Bron won't be able to use the "no supporting cast" excuse this year.

You know why do I keep hearing everyone say that Lebron gave up and thats why the Celtics won. I mean are people for real? Give props when props are due.

So if the Cavs lose the series does that mean Lebron is gone? They had the best record in the NBA this year and if they lose in the 2nd round they won't really have any excuses. I mean who else do they need to bring in to get back to the Finals? Bosh, D-Wade, anybody?

Shaq is apparently the only one who feels winning the series might be important. LeBron didn't even seem to care last night, it was weird. I've seen him have bad games, but he seemed way off last night. Jamison and Mo Williams have got to start doing something, please. The Celtics are still a great defensive team, but come on...

This series is over and I think Lebron now knows that he is surrounded by a team of nobodies except for Shaq.

The Celtics have more a complete team and the Cavs need another good player or two.

Time for Lebron to leave Cleveland unless Cleveland gets their act together to get another player or two to make them more competitive.

Lebron realizes this as he just doesn't feel like doing it all on his own so he takes it easy on a game to see how the rest of his team really stakes up against Boston and they don't even come close.

You look at Boston and they have complete team. You look at the Lakers and they have a complete team. You look at Cleveland and they have two players.

Boston - Rondo, Pierce, Allen, KG

Lakers - Koby, Bynum, Gasol, Artest, and Odom. The Lakers have some other decent contributos.

Cleveland - Lebron, Shaq

Lebron needs to go to Orlando so that away he can win some championships.

Its not over yet. I am hoping with all my heart Celtics win it in 6 but I think LBJ has too much pride to be spit on like this.

Wow... you forgot a lot of players... Celtics - you forgot Perkins Cavs - you included probably the worst player in their starting line up. It should be LBJ, Mo, Jamison, Varejo, Anthony Parker

Yeah, as annoyed as I am with the turnovers and stuff, I am pleased they have maintained a 2 point lead even when in foul trouble and Mo Williams decided to show up.

Hope he cools off at halftime. :)

Rasheed Wallace commits some of the most ridiculous fouls, he plays like he's 5'2" on defense, and sucks on offense too for that matter!

More than once he doesn't even attempt to block the shot on the drive and gets a cheap foul, at leas try! Speaking of Rasheed, btw.

Hey you could say that about other games but tonight he is playing well and he is trying. No matter what he does he is going to get called for a foul. Thats the way it is when someone drives to the baskett.

I've never been so disappointed with how a playoff series ended. No disrespect at all to the Celtics, but I did not think the Cavs would go out like this. LeBron was pretty terrible until mid-way through the 4th quarter when he hit those two straight 3s. The team shut down at that point. Antawn Jamison was a huge bust, especially tonight. Mo Williams showed up in the first half, which was great, but you had to know he couldn't do that all game. MVP of the series for the Cavs: Shaq. I'll have a lot more thoughts later, but holy sh*t was this disappointing.

[QUOTE="waynehead895"][QUOTE="ASK_Story"]Maybe LeBron is playing bad on purpose? Meaning, if they lose, he's got a good excuse to leave. Hmm...makes you wonder. If not, I'm a little surprised he's playing so poorly. You can also make the case that Kobe is definitely still the best player in the NBA. You know if HE was playing in this Celtics/Cavs game, he'll show up and take over. ASK_Story

Was thinking exactly the same thing.

You mean the part about LeBron playing badly on purpose so he can leave? If that's the case than he probably already made up his mind before this series started.

Or my point about Kobe? :D

The part about him leaving. Though Kobe is best where and when it matters. Also hit me up for some SSFIV.

Disappointing loss for Cavs fans and Lebron. I really dont see him staying with Cleveland unless they get another top five player to give him some help. Bosh,Wade,etc... I also dont think he will go to the Knicks. That team is straight garbage and show no signs any time soon of contending for a championship. Oh well,I know it's a very very very long shot but i wouldnt mind if James signed with my Rockets.:P

Yeah. LeBron wasn't playing like LeBron. I can tell there's some other hidden agenda. He still got some points tonight but he wasn't aggressive and flying to the rim like he always does. And as for SSFIV, my Gold is expired for now and I suck, but thanks for the invite though. Maybe once I get better! :)

Sorry your team lost man. Better luck next year. Hopefully Lebron stays for the fans and because he think he can win a title with Cleveland. But he needs some more help. I really dont get why dude gets so much hate on here. He is a very good player and I wish my team had him.

Cleveland SUCKS as a team. You have starters who shouldnt even be on the bench of a D league team. Mo Williams is horrible, Shaq is the black Kirsty Alley, Side Show bob is actually good, but flops too much. Antwan Jamison is a playoff bum just like the the rest of the Cavs cept LBJ.

Magic in 6 against the C's. The Magic are a much BETTER TEAM.

Mike Brown = Fired too

so not all bad news.

Lebron failed just as bad as his other teammates these last 2 games and also had 9 turnovers tonight. Mo Williams was actually keeping them in this game preventing a blowout early while Lebron shooting up bricks. I agree Jamison played terrible but Lebron played poorly as well

I knew from the very beginning that Jamison, Richard Jefferson, and Caron Butler wouldn't be much help to their teams. They're all good players, but they're not the Scottie Pippen that the best player on their respective teams needed. I hate saying this, but they're a little overrated. For example, I knew Jefferson wouldn't do much for the Spurs. Before the season, all the analysts were saying how the Spurs got stronger. But I knew that wasn't the case.

Bron Bron haters rejoice!! Ahh in his defense i never saw the Cavs as a Championship type team, my cousin says they've got the best record in the NBA two years in a row so no excuses, but i just never saw them as being that good. Seems like nobody can win in the city of Cleveland, might be time to go.

See I disagree with this, this is so annoying to sit here and listen to analysts say this and fans alike. The bottom line is he was averaging 30 ptts and 13 rebounds a game this series. What else do you want this guy to do? Give the Cs credit for their defense, for the second game in a row they were able to contain him and keep him from doing anything relevant. Enough with this he wasn't the same and he wasn't trying. He got beat plain and simple. They kept him from driving to the hoop and forced him to shoot. Thats not his game.

Also he finished with a triple double last night, had 27 pts.

Breaking news: Cleveland mayor changes the city name from Cleveland to Chokeland. I hate being a Cleveland fan but just can't stop. It's like being an alcoholic, drug addict and obsessed boyfriend at the same time. I think I've built up an immunity to dissapointment in things and have Cleveland sports to thank for it.
