10 punch outs in his first major league game, pretty good for the next hideki irabu, right? I know its only the royals but he is my cy young favorite for 2007.

He's amazing, i got him in both my fantasy leagues. It really looks like all that money Boston payed is gonna be worth it.

Lets talk about this more when he pitches against a major league team, not the AAA Royals. :)

One game doesn't tell us anything. Plenty of kids come up and pitch one good game . . . let alone against KC. The guy needs a couple great seasons to justify what they're paying for him.

I agree, but I think "Red Sox Nation" would be just as satisfied if he can carry his team to the postseason.

God...not this again. I guess I am partly a Red Sox fan, but I have no idea where people think Dice K will be Cy Young... He pitched one good game and looked incredible but to win against Johan Santana is going to take a miracle.

You have to wait way down the season to tell. Yankees had a pitcher two seasons ago named Aaron Smalls who went undefeated in I think it was 8 games...next season he bombed all his games.
