I doubt it since both Sabathia and Carmona pitched badand yet the Indians still won one of those games. And I doubt they'll pitch as poorly in games 5 and 6 (if necessary), so this series should be over in six games (if that).

Oh and don't start hoping for a comeback like the '04 season because it's not happening, this pitching staff is not as good as the 04 pitching staff. That, and you no longer have Damon, who is a clutch player.

The thing is once we win the Penant I'm happy. If we loose the WS I wouldn't care. The Penant is nothing to be ashamed of.

This WS matchup is better IMO. Rockies vs Redsox is much better I think, and it will definately get better ratings. I'm going to try and get tickets tomorrow, should be a good series.Bobbles

Agreed, I wanted the Indians to win but I knew that the Sox in the WS would be better for baseball.

Sometimes I don't know why I bother rooting for any Cleveland team. It's one heartbreaking disappointment after another.

The Cavs make it to the finals and get swept in what is probably the most embarrasing finals performance of all time.

Then the Indians go into the ALCS with two pitchers that will finish in the top four for the Cy Young award and neither one of them wins a single game, although somehow we still manage to go up on Boston 3-1. Then we proceed to get blown out by a combined score of 30-5 over the next three games.
