I am of course a Packer fan, born and raised in Wisconsin. So there is a little bias, but a lot of people to tend to think Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Rodgers are considered Top 4 QB's the NFL today, and to think any of them are ahead of Rodgers in the last four years are crazy. Stats don't lie. And before you even mention Brady, Brees, and Manning's numbers Rodgers the past 5 years has been the most efficient QB in the league. Even last year on the NFL's Top 100 Manning, Brady we're ahead of Rodgers, despite the fact that Rodgers threw for more TD's, and less INT's than Manning, and Brady.

Not only that but Rodgers offensive line is horrendous, and when you look at the other three they have solid offensive lines. Brees and Rodgers are the only two QB's out of the four to win a Super Bowl the last 5 years. But let the debate begin!

I agree, it shouldn't be a debate. The ability of all 4 of them in the pocket are very close, no matter who you're willing to put number 1 in that category. But Rodgers has dimension that none of the other 3 have. He can buy time with his feet and get first downs running it if he needs to.

Well, it's not to much of a debate "BUT" I kinda got Rodgers and Brees tied but giving Rodgers the edge!! An anology I like to use when this conversation comes up is a B52 Bomber vs B52 fighter! Brees(The Bomber) Rodgers(The Fighter)...now I'm not saying that Rodgers doesn't have an arm but I think when the O-line stinks rodgers will kill you on those short and midrange lazer hot passes.

But when he does have a chance to throw it deep he's just as accurate! The best way to sum up Rodgers is that he is Brett Farve without the bad decision making..even though I still think farve is one of the best ever!:)

Brees' stats are very close, but one could argue he's done it with less.  Face it, Rodgers has had an unprecedented trove of wideouts around him.  Jennings, Driver, Nelson, and Finley is something Brees never had, the way Meahcam has played in SD has proven that.  Also, Brady is more accomplished and I believe holds more records.  The 50+ touchdowns and three rings, not to mention two SB MVP awards are beyond what Rodgers has done.  Brady has been playing for longer, so Rodgers might eventually outshine him, but I think Brady is still the better QB at this point.  I will say I think Manning is quickly being surpassed by the other three, but another ring could change things.

Marques Colston, Jimmy Graham, Reggie Bush(now it's Sproles filling that role) and his O-line is way better than the one the Packers has. Guys like Nelson and Finley would be nobodies if it weren't for Rodgers. And Driver wasn't the WR he used to be the last few years. So I have no idea what you're talking about.

Manning 2008-2013: 130 TDs, 56 INTs, 67.63%, 98.15 passer rating (missed 2011 season)

Brees 2008-2013: 190 TDs, 83 INTs, 67.58%, 100.72 passer rating (played injured in 2010, did not have Sean Payton in 2012)

Brady 2008-2013: 137 TDs, 37 INTs, 65.05% 102.85 passer rating (missed 2008 season)

Rodgers 2008-2013: 170 TDs, 45 INTs, 65.9%, 105.74 passer rating

Brady has had the best running game, Peyton has had the worst.

Peyton has had the best defense in terms of yardage, Brady has had the worst.

Brady's defense has given up the least amount of points, Brees' defense has given up the most points.

Brees has had 1 Pro Bowl receiver since 2008, Peyton has had 5, Brady has had 5, Rodgers has had 3.

And in the postseason, I'm taking Brees no questions asked.

Brady got the Hardware but he also had an ELITE defense when he won his first 3 SuperBowls! Once that defense got broken up he has carried the team through the season, but he hasn't been able to when his last 2 trips to the big dance.

Now, if your talking Brady vs Manning I'd go with Manning on this one because he seems to make better ajustments when facing a good pass-rush!

As for Driver, he wasn't what he used to be, but he was still damn good.  Graham wasn't with the Saints when they won the Superbowl, after Colston it was Henderson, Meacham, and Moore.  Shockey was good, but he wasn't lights-out.  And it's only recently that Green Bay's offensive line has gone downhill, when they went to the Superbowl they had good protection.

So did Rodgers when they won.

Manning has also been ratled by good defenses.  The Colts never used to blow out the Jaguars because they had a good enough defense to get to Manning, even if he eventually won it.  It seems like Brady has been better at just blowing out teams by putting up insane offensive performances, though maybe the stats don't support that.

Give me Manning every time ( Except for fantasy, I'm going with Rodgers or Brees. :P ) The best thrower I've ever seen and he's still got it.

I think the 4 top QB's you mentioned are all pretty close. Right now at this period of time though, I would say Rodgers is the best only because he does what he does with a HORRIBLE O-line and NO RUNNING GAME. This is coming from a die-hard Lions fan too who roots against the Packers. Without a doubt Rodgers throws the prettiest ball in the league. Again though, I think we're splitting hairs here.
