Yankees based on the fact that they slapped the Indians this season.
But they never played Sabbathia yet...
I am calling it as CC shutting thme down for 8 innings and the indians winning it 5 to 1Just_Osmo
LOL he just gave up a homer to Damon, I go for Yankees. 1 - 0 Yank stop of the first
[QUOTE="MikeE21286"]Tribe....better bullpen and starting pitching.
If Carmona gets a win the tribe wins the series

Agreed, the Indian's pitching staff is a lot better than the Yankee's
Yes and the Yankee offense is waaaaaaaaay better, BTW look at the score right now
LOL CC is struggling in the first, oh my the pitching staff guys, woah! TWO WALKS HA!Elektrik-Blu
He calmed down now its 3-1 Indians, don't post during a game because when it turns around you look like a fool.
EDIT: 4-1
New EDIT: 9-3 Indians.
See how bad bad pitching hurts you, 9 runs in 5 innings.
That was pure ownage, the indians offense lit up the Yanks pitching like it was the 4th of july.
4 HR's!!! Dear lord lol...
[QUOTE="Just_Osmo"]Where are all the Yankees fans now? lol. What a flop.dkhw
Ha, they all ran away. At least one guy made himself look like a fool.
Stop bs'ing, Im right here, we lost game 1.

And from what closet did u came from, never seen u here before tonight, fair weather fans.
Excuse, before you start accusing...read my post history...I've been involved with the sports forums plenty, and have been in past yankees/indians discussion.
Don't pretend to know me, I was born in Cleveland, OH (Technically Painsville...a suburb of cleveland)

Ok, no disrespect intended, just know Yanks fans are well and alive. Here hoping for a better game 2(from my standpoint).

Statistically the team that takes game one takes the series.
Good luck though, you need it with the rest of your starting pitching, you #1 guy got lite up what do you think will happen in game 2,3,4 if it goes there

The Yankees won game one in the last 4 series they've been eliminated in.[QUOTE="Just_Osmo"][QUOTE="Master_Live"][QUOTE="dkhw"][QUOTE="Just_Osmo"]Where are all the Yankees fans now? lol. What a flop.dru26

The Yankees won game one in the last 4 series they've been eliminated in.Exactly, I don't the stat right here, but the Yankees usually win a series when they lose the first game. Hopefully the trend continues.

Understood, and yes...this series is far from over. The Yankees can just as easily come back and clobber em.
I just want my indians to get outta this world series drought they are in. They have been so close I don't know how many times, esp. in the 90's.
But heres to a healthy, and exciting series.
Again, where were u two before this series started?, making prediction after one and a half game have passed? Cowards.
Indians in 3. So much for the 6-0 regular season record, they're just too old and washed up to make anything happen in the playoffs.UssjTrunks
INdians in 4.X360PS3AMD05
Cleveland (the city) should be embarrassed by all the bugs that invaded the field. Good win by the Indians though.

INdians in 4.X360PS3AMD05I've been saying the Yankees wouldn't make it out of the first round long before the playoffs started. I even said in that other thread before the series that the 6-0 season record would mean nothing.
I would forfeit rather than play there! xDCleveland (the city) should be embarrassed by all the bugs that invaded the field. Good win by the Indians though.

hahahaha.....wow...it's not like it was only the Yankees who got the bugs
I live in Cleveland (a suburb of it). Not embarassed at all.....loving the victory!
Tribe....better bullpen and starting pitching.
If Carmona gets a win the tribe wins the series
MikeE21286
hmm.....Prophet of Prognostication?......:P
Hopefully Tribe can finish it off
Actually Wang might pitch Game 4 with Pettitte to follow on full days rest in Game 5 if the Yankees can make it back to that swap now known as The Jake. We all know sinker-ball pitchers are actually more effective when they are a bit tired and Wang is 10-4 with a ERA of 2.75 at Yankee Stadium.
Great game tonight, I really do belive Chamberlain was harshly affected by the Canadian Soldiers (sounds weird even typing that) in the bottom of the 8th inning. Those of you who argue that it was Chamberlain's nerves just look at the bottom of the 7th where he came in with runners on 2nd & 1st with 1 out and struckout Gutierrez on 3 sliders and got Blake to fly out harmlessly. Yes I know the C Soldiers were there in the 9th for Carmona but you guys saw it on TV, they were freaking swarming on Chamberlain, although they were still there for Fausto you saw that it was not as much.
I really believe in this Yankees club and with the pitching of Westbrook and Bryd to follow in a potential Game 4, I think the Bronx Bombers have a shot to send this back to Cleveland with Pettitte on the mound.
