The half time shows have been tedious for a long time. This one wasn't all that bad, but that's relative. I watch the Puppy Bowl during half time, far more entertaining.

i dont think there can be a superbowl halftime show that everyone likes...
older people aren't really in to the younger performers and for the most part, younger people aren't really into the performers from older generations
i liked where they were going with the aerosmith/timberlake/whoever else was there halftime... mainly because i think the only way that people would be somewhat satisfied is if there is "something for everyone"
One of these days they just need to throw in the towel and send a marching band out there for a little while (no longer than the regular season halftime time) and then get on with the game ;)
Honestly, which of us really expect to be entertained during HALFTIME. It's supposed to be a break from the game. The game we tuned in to watch. It's the time we're not SUPPOSED to be watching. It's time for everyone to get a snack, take a crap and stretch your legs before the second half. No matter how good it is, it will never be as good as having the game come back a few minutes sooner.

prince is a pretty good guitarest man, and i thought he did a better version of the foo fighters song, its one of their weakest
