Jason Taylor and Miami to Part Ways

Rumors have been flying around on fan sites for 2 days now. Then the rumor made PFT (profootballtalk.com). Now yahoo sports is reporting he is probably going to be released next week.

Hoping they trade him to Green Bay for a few picks, as the rumors go.

Thomas, now Taylor. No more Chambers or Booker or Traylor. This team will not look familiar next season, hopefully for the better.

*EDIT: Parcells came out recently and said there is no truth to this report/rumor, whether its a smoke-screen or not, we'll have to wait and see.*

He'll be 34

He's a good looking guy that carries himself well and is smart. He'll have a job in the booth anytime he wants so it's more of a situation where he asks if he wants to keep putting that much wear on a body if it wont get him anything else in football.

He doesn't need money from the NFL, he'll make more on TV

Well, it came out a day or so ago that Parcells will not be trading him (maybe less so because the Jets got Calvin Pace). If he's not throwing up a smoke-screen.

Well, he's getting old, and he really wasn't all that hot last season. Up until just after the half-way point of last season he was really just a body on the DL. After that he started playing like the JT we know and love, but before that, yeesh!

He's probably not too worried about where he's going next because he gets to spend all summer dancing with some fine ass woman on dancing with the stars.msjr78
