J. McDaniels really screw it up in this one. So many teams would take Cutler in a heartbeat, like the Vikings who must be licking their chops at the thought of adding Jay at QB.

If I needed a new QB I'd think about a late 1st round pick, naw i'd do a first rounder for sure.

He's only 25 and has thrown 8,000 yards over the last two seasons. He'll be an NFL starter at the most critical position through 2020. I'd trade the #1 overall to get him.

Being a Cowboy fan, I say trade Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson for him. I'd love to have Cutler in a Cowboy jersey.

When I was listening to the radio today, I found out that some people here in Chicago think a straight-up Kyle Orton for Jay Cutler trade is reasonable.

if things don't go right in denver then cutler is going where he was supposed to which is to the new york jets jets jets!!!! if the broncos seriously wanna get rid of jay then i've heard we would have to give up our 17th pick, 2nd round pick and a future draft pick which we have no problem doing.

You know I feel for Chicago fans because that team's ownership just doesn't seem to care about winning enough to spend some money, but that is no reason for such insanity.

jay cutler could be good....but worth a first round pick? Flacco and Ryan made the playoffs! Where was Cutler? At Home....Therefore, i would trade him for maybe sean taylor ok i was joking...but i would trade him for McNabb? no there both horriable QB's....Maybe a second round pick, not for Cassell or Delhomme or Warner not even Garcia...so Denver you can have Cutler, take him...even his own coach doesnt even want him....

Wait, I'll up the ante. I'll offer Tony Romo and Roy Williams (the safety, not the receiver) for Jay Cutler and Peyton Hillis, lol

I would trade a 1st and a 2nd round pick. What McDaniels tried to do is one of those trade that HAVE to go through if you are going to propose it.

Detroit would be a good fit for him. They should trade a first round pick to get him--a proven QB with some experience or go with an unproven first pick QB who you'd have to pay tons of money.

The reason Cutler didn't make the playoffs was because his defense was atrocious...it really isn't Cutler's fault. If you put Cutler on the Ravens and Flacco on the Broncos, the Broncos probably win 5 games and the Ravens at least still make the playoffs. Jay Cutler is a borderline pro-bowl QB, a guy that's proven in the NFL. I would definitely trade a first round pick to get him. And were you saying that Jake Delhomme is better than Jay Cutler? :| I didn't really understand.

Well... looking at the statbook he is one of the top 5 quarterbacks in passing yards and passing touchdowns. The Broncos offense was ranked 2nd last season... it didn't go to the playoffs because we had the 29th defense in the league (sure seemed like the 32nd)... ohh and to make things even better we had uhmm let me see ... five or six runningbacks on injured reserved. They had to plug in a rookie fullback to gain yards. Yeah Flacco and Ryan made the playoffs, check out their stats though... nothing "amazing". They both landed on extremely talented teams and did pretty good last season. As for the Broncos, its incredible that we were one game away from the playoffs, in the kind of situation they were in last season anything above 6-10 is amazing. Josh McDaniels really screwed this up... I wouldn't be surprised if Jay eventually gets traded somewhere else. To think, put up your best player and one of the fastest rising young quarterbacks in the league for Matt Cassel, probably a one hit wonder. Anyways, I think Jay is worth a late 1st rounder a 2nd rounder, and maybe another pick late in the draft.. but for teams like Detroit that are in desperate need of a franchise QB, Jay is worth the number one overall pick.

The only reason Cutler was on the block is because the Broncos could get Cassel in return. If the Broncos arent getting a QB to replace Cutler, they wont make the trade...unless it was something crazy like 3 first rounders. Personally, I dont understand why the Broncos wanted to esentially trade Cassel for Cutler, but McDaniels knows more about them than I do.

I would use a 1st round pick for him if it was anything above 10. He has already proven himself to be a QB who has the ability to get the job done which seems to be something fading in the league. I would rather have Cutler than Stafford or Sanchez...Pat White is the best overall QB in the draft as he could play 2-3 positions at a high level.

If Cassell is a 2nd Rounder, then Cutler is a fer-sure 1st Round pick. Probably between 10th-15th overall too
