Is John Terry just the hardest/bravest man on the planet?

No matter whats going on, nomatter what he has to do..he will do ANYTHING to stop the other team scoring. I swear he'd stop a wrecking ball with his face if he had to.

And yesterday just shows what the man is all about. Abou Diaby injured his foot when he kicked Terry in the face...whats that all about!

So basically...just tell me how much you love the man. :)

I don't like him that much, but that is some dedication.

On the front of the papers today he is on the frontpage, the grass and mud stuck to his face the contact was that forceful, plus he looked dead. Even Diaby, worried he prayed for him.

The figh at the end kind of ruined a good match though.

Goodbye to the Millenium Stadium. Hello Wembley.

He is an outstanding player and that was one bad hit he took for the team during the game. There isn't enough respect to him as a player because he is a defender but he is outstanding.

In all fairness, he is exceptional. But no braver or harder than Carragher, or indeed Sol Campbell. All three are amazing last ditch defenders who live for their team

Hes a very good defender and puts it all on the line every single game just like the legend that is Carragher. Well at least Terry and Crouch will have something to talk about on the plane to Israel with them both getting kicked in the face but i think Crouch came off worst since he broke his nose.

Huh, John Terry died 3 times, swallowed his own tongue and had suspected Brain damage. In my opinon that is much worse than a broken nose.

LOL he didn't die 3 times thats the papers talking they want you to buy there papers and that means exaggerating quite a bit the same goes for him having suspected brain damage they may of had that as a worst case scenario but only because he was unconscious if he wasn't unconscious they wouldn't have thought about that at all. The only true non-exaggerated part of your post is that he swallowed his tongue which happens when people are unconscious but his situation was far from life threatening since they have plenty medics at games.

Do you really think he would have been discharged from hospital before the end of the match if he died 3 times and had brain damage? He is a legend, but some of these reports are ridiculous. Next thing we will hear is that he has been spotted transforming into a bat and fighting crime at night.

The bat thing is true by the way. He saved me from a nasty man trying to mug me once. If hed been kicked in the head...with that amount force id reckon he'd still be in hospital now. its only because it was in the face that is wasnt "that" bad. And the "dead" story. I think its because Almunia said in an interview that he was really scared and that Terry looked like he was dead on the floor.
