Kimbo Slice on CBS

Never seen him before and i wasn't impressed. Big, Slow, and got winded 2 min into the fight. He reminds of tank adams (who i think i heard he beat), he has a powerful punch and that's about it. He's still new to the sport apparently, so he has time to get better, but he would have got pounded if he faced a top notch fighter.sixringz1

As a casual MMA watcher its a nice change of pace IMO. I'd rather watch a slugfest than a submission or ground and pound type match, boxing is boring and too slow paced for me not to mention fighting looks much more brutal in MMA.

If boxing would change to the same gloves then it would be very exciting. Also boxing needs to crack down on holding. Holding just makes fighers lazy and always feel like they have a way out, but if you penalize them for doing it too much then they would second guess unless they know they are going to get knocked out.

He didn't even deserve to win. Fight was given to him. Wasn't Kimbo's fault, but it still sucks. I wish he would fight someone good, that would be fun to watch.

Yup. The guy was drilling Kimbo with elbows the last 45 seconds of the 2nd round.

Anyway, who watched WEC last night? That's real MMA.

I don't know how Pulver didn't go down from all those punches. Not only that, he turned the tide in that verysame round. Awesome fight.

I actually liked the Torres fight better. When they got eachother in a toe hold, that was amazing.

I wish Meada's eye didn't close up I would of loved to see more rounds.

Kimbo could probably take on guys from UFC if he doesnt go passed the 2nd round or on the ground for that matter. Hes at his prime when standing up delivering the crazy power that he has. Tjeremiah1988

Kimbo vs. Couture, Arlovski, Cro Cop, Sylvia, Barnett = Kimbo getting beaten very badly and very quickly.

Kimbo showed what he was Saturday, an Amatuer.

Its not even completely his fault. EliteXC wants to build with Kimbo as their star, so they're gonna give him Cans and act like he's the best fighter in the world.

I actually owned somebody for saying he was better than Fedor. BETTER THAN FEDOR!

That fight should've ended in the second round, even Bas Rutten agrees with that.

Not to mention, this event set the image of MMA back 10 years.
