.... I'm done. No point discussing this further with someone who brings nothing but anecdotal 'proof' while preaching from his soap box that 'Melo doesn't play D!'
But before I ignore your future post on this topic.... there is something I would like you to consider "There's a reason why the term "There's no D in Denver" was coined during Melo's time there." Once upon a time there was this phrase 'there is no D in Dallas' and fans frequently called the 7 foot tall German PF 'Irk Nowitzki' since he had no D. To add to this, Irk Nowitzki's team failed in the playoffs throughout his time there, once losing to the 8 seed in the playoffs. I suppose this 'Irk Nowitzki' will never win a ring as well, since the term "There is no D in Dallas" once existed? Will this Irk Nowitzki not win a ring ever because his team frequently failed in the playoffs?
What you said of Melo in Denver may have been true, however, even if it was it means nothing. Clinging to the past blinds you from improvement. Would Melo being a 'poor defender' in Denver mean that he couldn't have improved in the last 2? The fact of the matter is, as stats have shown, Melo is at worst an average defender.
So by all means, scream from atop your soap box 'facts' that are not based in reality, just don't expect a reply from me.
