Lakers vs Nuggets - Game 2: 122-107 Lakers

Lakers pretty much dominated the whole game, Kobe and Martin got double technicals and Iverson got ejected.

Kobe had a bad shooting night (Still got 32 points), and Gasol was unbelievable.

36 Points, 8 Assists, 16 Rebounds. Game_1

Kobe Bryant - 49 Points, 10 Assists, 4 Rebounds.

Pau Gasol - 18 Points, 3 Assists, 10 Rebounds

Iverson - 31 Points, 6 Assists

Kobe just took the game over last night. He had 20 in the first, and 10 straight shots made.

Gasol can not be stopped. And Odem has finally found his calling as a roll player and a Double Double roll player at that. With both Gasol and Lamar putting up 10-15 boards a piece a night and Gasol throwing up 25-30+ points a game.

Kobe can basically just sit back on cruise control. Oh wait don't let me forget my man Derek Fischer. What a vetren he is. A true floor leader at the point to just sit back and Direct the others and let them do there thing. Fischer is nothing flashy. But what he is, is TUFF as NAILS and a real work horse.

You do realize who they just played? Denver is WIDELY KNOWN as a team that play NO DEFENCE. Period. So dont get to happy with the numbers. Everyone scores highwhen they play denver.

Even though i want the Lakers in the Finals to play the Celtics I will laugh when they fail and you never show your face here again.

at first it was a small section chanting it, then just about when everyone picked up on what they were saying it got a lot louder in the 3rd and 4th quarter

No I've been a die hard lakers fan since I was a kid back in the Magic days of Showtime. I'll admit though my interest in the NBA has slacked off in the past few years becuase of the whole THUG IMAGE it has gained. But i see it getting back to being better nowadays.

i know this isn't what all the laker fans and more importantly kobe fans want to hear, but it's games like this where it makes it more evident in my eye that Kobe shouldn't be the MVP. And this isn't the first time it's happened where he's been off or in fould trouble. Today they were better when he was on the bench, and had voujacic (no idea how to spell that) and farmar in with Gasol being the point of emphasis. There was much better ball movement. When i watched that Hornets game the other night the Hornets were getting hammered in the first half cause Paul wasn't doing anything. He only had like 9 points and 3 assists. Then he takes over in the second half and ended with over 30 and 10 and they blew out Dallas. My point is the Hornets go as Paul goes, and i don't think that's necessarily the case without Kobe for the Lakers. They are still a pretty damn good team w/out him.sixringz1

My comment on don't claim a vitory untill you are atleast 3-0 has nothing to do with the nuggets not playing defence.. They are an all offence team. How do you think they made it to be the 8th seed? They did it by just outscoring the other team. Ofcourse its highly unlikely they would wint he series but its not imposible. This is the Nuggets play st yle they will let you score on them but they are going to try to come back and score on you. It doesnt always work but it has worked good enough to win them games before. You would know this is youknew anythign about the league.
