I didnt know the Finals were played already.
In other news, way to not be able to get the easy rebound Spurs. The thing fell int heir lap basically lol. Good think Kobe missed the buzzer beater inbound. Lets see what the best coach in the NBA comes up with for the 2 second shot. Will they tie or win or lose?

Cheaply. That was a foul. He was in the air and landed on Barry.
Yep, you quoted me before I could edit my post.

that was a horrible play selection anyways. look where he was attempting to shoot it even if fisher wouldn't have touched him he still would have missed from that distance
[QUOTE="-Halftime-"]We one win away baby:DJust_Osmo
Due to the refs giving it away. that was a 3 shot foul no called. Quite BS if you ask me. Enjoy your unearned win.
Seriously why is everyone trying to determine this game on one call? There was alot of calls in this game or any NBA game I wander what the refs see. Spurs had plenty of opportunities to win this game.
Wow, what a no call. He was in the air. Thats a foul. Boo to the refs.Just_Osmo
He leaned into Fisher. He tried to get the ref to bail him out and the ref swallowed his whistle like he should have.
At the end of the game the refs ain't gonna bail you out. Players have to win the game.

You see how bias refs to lakers tonight? but lakers still win it. ;D
I could care less if people think we won this game cheaply because the fact of the matter is the scoreboard says 93-91 in favor of the Lakers and we're up 3-1 and that's not gonna change.
Concerning Brent Barry, first of all, he wasn't in the act of shooting, second of all, he leaned in, 3rd of all, refs don't blow the whistle at the end of games like that to determine a game. 4th of all, that play didn't decide the game. The Spurs had plenty of chances and blew it, and the fact of the matter is that that was a dumb play to call anyway and I doubt he would have made it.
They missed a call before that the other way .... Fisher's jumper that he missed hit the rim so the shotclock would have reset and they wouldn't of had to force up a shot.[QUOTE="Just_Osmo"]Wow, what a no call. He was in the air. Thats a foul. Boo to the refs.Nike_Air
Huh? no it didnt. It wasnt even close. Kobes shot hit the rim on the inbound, but fishers wasnt even close. Watch it again.

How was that an unearned win?
Because the Spurs should have tied it with the Fisher foul, it want a shooting foul technically because fisher landed on top of him ont he dribble. They were over the limit. Thats 2.
Wow that Fisher shot might have actually glanced the rim.
When I first saw it I thought it wasn't close at all but when I saw the replay it was really close from the view they showed.

fishers shot actually hit the rim buddy, watch the replay again. even the tnt analyst said it
Nobody wants to decide it at the line. Lakers had the lead the whole night. Spurs tied but couldnt get over the hump. They had it in their favor and just let it slip. Not to mention Ginobili's 4 measly points. Doomtime
That's a crappy reason not to make a call. You don't try to please the fans, you try to get it right.
I dont even like the Spurs and want to see the Lakers in the Finals, but that was a 2 shot foul, he jumped onto Barry in the dribble. Thats a foul. Everyone on ESPN and on TNT is saying it. It was a foul. They were in the penalty.
Just_Osmo
Spurs head coach said it wasn't a foul so that's the end of that.
I think they got together and decided not to make a big stink about it because it would serve no purpose at this point.[QUOTE="Doomtime"]Pop and Barry are both saying it was a no call. Nike_Air
Bingo.
FIrst of all, STOP BEING IGNORANT YOU LAKER FANBOY MORONS. THE REFS BLOW THE WHISTLE ALL THE TIME AT THE END OF THE GAME, they just didn't blow it this time. YOU PEOPLE MUST BEING WATCHING THE WRONG GAMES IF YOU CLAIM THE REFS NEVER BLOW THEIR WHISTLES AT THE END OF THE GAME TO HELP DETERMINE THE OUTCOME, BECAUSE IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, AND SAYING THIS ISN"T SO IS RIDICULOUS AND SIMPLY PLAIN IGNORANT. And I wasn't really sure about this one, seeing as how I was sleeping most of the game, and happened to see the very end, but were the Lakers over the foul limit? If they were, it wouldn't have mattered if he was shooting or not...jbrejot
Even if it was a foul he wasn't in the act of shooting and it would have tied the game up if he hit his free throws. I don't see any of you Spurs fans complaining about the clock not being reset after Fisher hit the rim on the play right before Spurs took the ball back. If the Lakers had got a new clock this game would have still ended with a Laker win.
