LT and the Chargers are screwed in 2007 anyway because of firing Chockenheimer and all the other poor couching moves they have made. They have no chance of making or winning the super bowl in the first year of almost a completely new coaching staff. And by the time they do have a chance in 2008 or 09 LT will be just about washed up.
So he should do the cover so when SD doesn’t make the playoffs they can blame the game cover instead of the really stupid Chargers organization!

Wrong. Chargers will win the AFC West for the third time in four years.
He doesn't need to be on a videogame cover to get national exposure, everyone with a TV or that knows how to read a paper knows who LT is. He'll get national exposure when Chargers play on Sunday night football. If he's smart, he will say no.Â

LT washed up? Not likely! He's got the drive to really make a name for himself once he retires. He is a sure Hall of Famer at the pace he is going. The only comparitive back to LT was the great Barry Sanders. LT is better because he has excellent hands.

He would say no because he would sit back and think about all the previous players that got on the cover and got injured the following season. I am sure when Alexander got the call, he wondered the same thing and said to himself, "Nah, I won't get injured. I don't believe in the Madden curse". Next thing he knows, he is out with a broken foot!
