[QUOTE="NetYankEagle"]LMFAO i cant believe im still buying this piece of effing ish game just cuz i need to play a football gamenickdastick

Seriously? Even after Gamespot's "credible" review Madden 10 has an average score of 87.34% out of 100% and that's after 16 reviews. This years Madden is obviously a solid game but yet again, Gamespot shows their inability to review games.

You know that the score will only go down, don't you?

Gamespot finally does something right

[QUOTE="hockeyruler12"]

This is a terrible review. This year's madden in THE BEST next-gen madden out. I normally criticize madden. 09 was awful. The running game was broken, and it STILL scores higher than 10.

Gamespot can't review games, I'm sorry.

naw the running game is still broken

please

believe

Me

That is from 09 becasue look at the date of the video and i know for sure they took away the juke as a wide turn move.

I dont understand MADDEN this gen. At first it was trash with features that "couldnt be implement" but were in past MADDEN games. Then since 2005 they have slowly added features to nex gen MADDEN that was once in the past MADDEN games and claim it as new and all the MADDEN fanboys fall for the hype every year. Though, I praise this years MADDEN because of its online franchise, something I always wanted. But they are still years behind in terms of innovation in games that other sport titles have pushed out every year.

This review actually makes me more shocked at GameInformer's reviews, because I'm pretty sure Mattew Kato reviewed it and gave it 8.75/10, because I've seen enough football game reviews by him to know he's a 2K fan(just look up his APF 2k8 review) and considered this the best Madden in years.

However, regardless, I'm really worried about Franchise and Superstar Modes. As I had feared, they seem to have gotten no upgrades save for sharing the new presentation features.

The franchise and Superstar modes got major cutbacks. Franchise is the worst in years, and that adds to the game just as much as anything. I miss a true owner mode, team newspapers, radio show...A easier setup.

If you seriously believe that, you are clueless. This year you can see the holes develop and you can hit them hard or bounce it outside and gain some solid yards. My brother, who HATES to run on Madden, played the Super Bowl demo a few times and LOVES how well the running game works in Madden now. You need to take off your NFL 2K5 blinders man...

lol you need to take off those EA homer glasses.Iv seen enough apex videos to know that the running and offensive line is still trash

The O-line in 2k5 was garbage. I would try to stand in the pocket and get sacked all the time. I went back and watched the replays, my guys didn't throw any blocks.

You must have been playing a different game than most of us then.

This still happens in EA's games today. In NCAA the players will just watch as people blow by them or the blockers will run up field on run plays 5-10 yards beyond where any defensive player is, instead of blocking someone. The linemen interaction in general is horrible.

Yeah. I mean you had to scramble some, because there's gotta be some challenge. Last time I checked NFL QBs don't have all day to throw. Also the game gives you this wonderful option of trading players in an attempt to improve your team.

While a few things tick me off, I still like this game and I hope Madden 11 can be better then this year. I do hate how there is no competition, its just not right.

maybe you need some more practice because it seems you're the only one in here getting sacked so much ;)

This is why the O-Line in 2k5 was better
